I was very positively surprised. Viterbo is an absolute jewel. If you can, go there! Admire the fantastic houses from the middle ages or even older. The location is also excellent as it's close to the Terme dei Papi (the hotel also offers a ferry service to and from the springs) and also very close to Viterbo.
