Borgo I Vicelli Adults Only Relais, hotel in Bagno a Ripoli

Set in the Tuscan countryside, Borgo I Vicelli Adults Only Relais is 10 minutes’ drive from Bagno a Ripoli town center.

Breakfast was very nice, with a good variety of choices. The restaurant was a big disappointment. Weird "gourmet" menu. The isolated location of the borgo forces guests to be captive. Aperitifs were over priced. Bar staff music selection was offensive Rap on one evening.

Tomaso is so welcoming and accommodating, we arrived much earlier than expected and it was not a problem at all. They gave us space to store our luggage and also gave us lovely lunch restaurant recommendations. The house is beautiful set in a wonderful location just outside of Florence. The breakfast, garden and room were super!

The location of the villa was very convenient to visiting Florence and then come back to relax. The grounds of the villa were amazing. We loved the pool and the grassy area in front. Maximo and Gaia were so nice and helpful. The rest of the staff were very friendly. We loved the outdoor dinning there too. Very delicious. There was plenty of parking and it was very quiet.

Villa la massa was amazing, the staff went above and beyond with their level of service. The restaurants were both very good, breakfast each morning overlooking the river was fabulous. The spa therapist gave a wonderful massage and facial. The chef came out each day to ask everyone if they enjoyed their meal. The hotel rooms are gorgeous, the bathrooms were spacious, everywhere is absolutely spotless. The pool area was very well maintained, always someone to get you water, a towel. All the staff were just so friendly.

Beautiful gardens, jacuzzi with views, amazing breakfast with local produce and always freshly made! The room fridge was filled and included in the price of the room which was a very nice touch and something I’ve not seen often. Property is close to Florence and provides easy access by car to towns like San Gimignano and Siena. Best stay we have had in Italy hands down! Host was incredibly accommodating and attentive. We would highly recommend and hopefully will visit again.

I have travelled a lot around the world from 5 star properties to hostel, but I have never been in a property that is an absolute 10 out of 10 across all dimensions - breakfast, hotel, rooms, but most of all 10+ star hospitality and customer service of the owner, Tommaso. We have had some unfortunate force majeure happened to us days before our wedding but Tommaso has helped to solve it with grace and graciousness. We will definitely come back and hopefully not once!

The dinner time at the table with people from different cultures and background is the best time to share and meet likeminded people! The breakfast is fantastic too! Even though it takes some time to get there, you can have a eagle view of Firenze and enjoy the breathtaking sunset every evening! I’ll definitely choose to stay here again for the next visiting in Italy!

It was my first time at a 5 star hotel and it was wonderful. We had a stressful travel day and the hotel helped ease the tension. The grounds were beautiful, breakfast was amazing. We got a little workout done in the gym and felt refreshed leaving. The bartender was great and made wonderful drinks. The food from the restaurant, although a little pricey, was good.

Convenient for 1 night. The hotel is 10 minutes away by car from the port, convenient for relaxing after arriving by ferry to Livorno. A small hotel on the outskirts of the city, there is a Parking space. Friendly host. The room is clean and cozy. On the 1st floor there is a vending machine with drinks and snacks. The breakfast is served in a nearby cafe.

The breakfast here was okay -- nothing sensational, but a decent spread. The coffee, however, was delicious! The staff was very kind -- they went out of their way to help us order pizza delivery when we didn't feel like leaving the hotel to get it ourselves. The pool was also nice and had an amazing view of the Italian countryside!

The room was amazing and large. At least 12foot ceilings, matching tasteful furniture, reflecting the old villa nature of the hotel. Everything I expected for a hotel in such a famous area. The pool was great, breakfast was fresh, clean and very good.
