Set in Tuscan countryside 20 minutes outside Florence, Villa Il Sasso - Dimora d'Epoca, a historic 13th-century building with extensive gardens, offers a peaceful alternative to hectic inner-city... A wonderful stay at a beautiful villa that is peaceful and away from hustle of city life. Old style antique luxury rooms were large and comfortable with air conditioning. The grounds are well kept and had various corners of the property to just sit and relax. From what I can tell, there are not alot of rooms so the quaint nature of this place is maintained. Location is great! A quick 15 minute drive to Florence and have easy access to get to the highway heading south to the heart of Chianti region like Siena and the surrounding hill towns. Emiliano and his staff were always attentive and willing to help. I will definitely stay again!
A luxury villa surrounded by green areas, Villa La Massa features a garden with swimming pool, a spa, and a restaurant with terrace overlooking River Arno. It is located 5 mi from Florence’s center. The restaurant was fantastic!
Villa Il Padule has accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi. The apartment offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hair dryer and bidet. The villa was really lovely! It was such a great experience to stay out of the city. We had excellent hosts. Breakfast was superb!! We recommended the villa to our friends and relatives right away.
Poggio Baronti B&B has accommodations with a garden and free WiFi. All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. Immaculate facilities; the room looked new, very neat, and the grounds were well kept. The host was polite, engaging, and very helpful and his mother is a delightful lady. Very quite with very few neighbors on the same road. They have an expansive olive orchard with umbrella tables and a modern building for gatherings. The persimmon trees were in fruit this time of year (mid-October) and were loaded, but didn't try.
Featuring an outdoor pool and garden views, Appartamento Piero is located in Bagno a Ripoli. This apartment also features free WiFi. Wonderful hidden gem in the hills of Florence. We have spent a week in the apartment of Maria and it was great, this was the best accomodation which we have ever had in Italy: perfectly equipped kitchen and living room, cozy and spatious bedroom, good size badroom, big terrace with views on the hills and the sunset and quiet pool area with equal views on the hills. Maria was very helpful and prepared us a 4-course dinner Italian style, we would everyone reccommend to order this dinner also. We will come back!
Offering garden views, Agriturismo Villa Dauphiné in Bagno a Ripoli has accommodations, a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi is featured. An Italian breakfast is served at the property. Father/son hosts were delightful! One of the best meals of the entire trip, there's fascinating history to the farm and it's a beautiful to stroll among the olive trees. Simply lovely!
Villa Olmi Firenze offers rural luxury in an 18th-century farmhouse in Florence. It features a gourmet restaurant, an ancient vaulted wine cellar, and elegant rooms with a spa bath. Fantastic hotel where reality was better than the pictures (despite the fact that the pictures are awesome)! Great stay for couples, easy to find and get into the city!
Located on the banks of River Arno, Hotel Mulino Di Firenze was originally a watermill serving Florence. It offers free parking, and a wellness center with Turkish bath and sauna. We very much liked the location, the dining room and the generous breakfast. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating.
Together Florence Inn features a central garden with a well and olive trees. It is located 2.5 mi from central Florence, and features a heated outdoor pool. Wi-Fi is free throughout. Hotel was good value price wise - Staff always friendly and accommodating - My room was clean and spacious with clean fresh linen - Breakfast offered variety of choices. Quiet area and very near bus route into Florence.
Set in Florence, 2.3 mi from Sant'Ambrogio Market and 2.7 mi from Palazzo Vecchio, Appartamento 6 posti letto Firenze Sud provides air-conditioned accommodations with a terrace and free WiFi. Everything is outstanding. So beautiful, clean, cozy. We felt like a home the whole time. ❤
This is a fantastic B&B and feels a bit more like a boutique hotel. Facilities are very good and everything is clean, and new! We had a room with a beautiful view. The location is secure and quiet but only a short drive into florence (10 mins) but good for access to other parts of the region. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. I would definatley recommend to stay here and when we visit again we will stay here. Such a good find.
It is def one of the best hostel I've ever stayed, the staff is incredible, Fernando is soooo nice , friendly and helpful. atmosphere is wonderful as well. The hostel itself is a historic building located in a quite beautiful countryside mountain and you can have a full view of Firenze from their terrace. Even though a little bit far away from town and bus sometimes doesn't work as we planned. But it totally worth it!! I enjoyed my stay very much, Grazia
The views are stunning. We were able to get to and from Florence easily. Outstanding Trattoria right in the Centro of Bagno a Ripoli. The streets leading to the B&B are rather narrow, though picturesque. Use caution.
Gateway to both Florence and the jaw dropping ambience that make Tuscany so appealing. Nice little town with a pleasant supermarket. Somebody would do well to offer bike rentals there since public transportation into Florence is a joke! Bus service is erratic,Uber is non-existent, and taxis are expensive.

A beautifully peaceful property out of the way of the hustle and bustle of Florence. The staff were amazing and took time to chat about our day, help with tours and ideas for dinner and generally all so kind. They all clearly like working at La Massa as it felt as though we were visiting friends. My son left his beloved Teddy at the hotel and cried himself to sleep, the staff were so happy to help and found the rouge stuffed toy. Food was good also.

I loved location with stunning view at Florence. I loved energy and look of this old building. It is different and so beautiful. They preserved atmosphere and details as much as possible still it is hostel and have everything as expected. We had a private room wit own bathroom, clean and comfortable. Stuff is so friendly and helpful, they all speak english (rare in Italy). Great value for the money.

Very nice and historic room, very spacious, much better than an hotel room. Very good welcome from the hosts at arrival. They have been very helpful throughout our stay. The villa is very nice in a quiet area not too far from Florence. The pool looked beautiful but we had no time to enjoy it

Enrica and Sauro (the hosts) were very responsive and helped me a lot before and during my stay. This was a really nice addition to my stay in Bagno a Ripoli. The cottage itself is really nice and clean and is in a beautiful garden.

The best place ever I stayed in Italy. Actually I don't should write a review to keep it a secret escape but Tommaso deserve the best comment. He is such a lovely host and he made my trip just gorgeous.
