The property itself is stunning.
The property itself is stunning. It is nestled in a lovely country side area, with beautiful mountain views, and easy access to bus routes that get you across the Amalfi coast, but enable a quiet nights rest away from the super touristy spots. Breakfast is more than a typical Italian breakfast in quantity, and the hostesses are exceptionally attentive and helpful. Just the right central location to visit the Amalfi coast. Its situated some 30minute drive up a curvy hill which was ok considering we had a rentall car giving us freedom of movement from Naples through Sorrento. positano, onto the Amlafi coast to Vietri Sul Mare and back to Naples Agerola's small town center was great for the mrning coffe and light breakfast before visiting other places.Guest review byil-Gan GanMalta - 10.0

Although most people will probably visit the area for the coastal villages (Positano, Amalfi, Minori, Maiori, etc.) als Agerola is worthwhile a visit during your stay. If you are the hiking type, this accomodation is in close distance (about 5 km) from the start of the marvelous "Sentiero egli dei". Also for us it was very convenient because is situated about in the middle of the Amalfi coast. So in the first day we visited the left part (till Positano) and the next day, the right part (till Cetara). Don't miss ristorante Take Away 'O SOLE MIO Neapolitan Food Agerola. Small town that is in the process of refurbishing.
Small town that is in the process of refurbishing. According to a local resident, the increase in tourism to town has allowed more monies to increase and improve local businesses and village services. Although the Italians often don’t start eating dinner until 8p this small village had few options on the main street/square after 7p. Those that are available have variable open hours that are known only when you arrive to find it open/closed. You need to take a bus to Amalfi to catch another bus to other Amalfi Coast towns. If driving , learn to use the buses. Parking in the “tourist towns” is very difficult not to mention the roads. Walking is also a challenge. Everything is uphill/downhill and you share the road with parked cars and drivers of cars, buses, trucks on narrow one lane roads that are just a series of turns.
