I thought the staff were very professional at all times, The breakfast was delicious and there was ample choice. The room was lovely and spacious. We found the aircon to be too loud and hard to work so we did ask reception to assist. Location wise, you couldn't possibly get a better location to be fair..walking distance to the town and to the marina.

Fantastic hotel, beautiful pool and entrance. The hotel is connected to a health spa with the amenities I have at my sport club at your fingerprints. There is variety of pools, salt water, private, family and Turkish hammam available at no extra fee. The staff and reception are amazing and the director General, Mr José Branco is a gentleman who personally made sure everything was great. The location is across from the beach with easy access, and close to Sinatra and walking distance to Cascais center of the town. The restaurant sushi next to the hotel was easy access and the breakfast was good.

FAQs about hotels in Cascais

Laid-back Suburban Beach Resort

Cascais is a small city located on the outskirts of Lisbon. Once a fishing village and defence outpost, the royalty transformed it into a stylish summer resort. Mixing beautiful beaches, elegant mansions, imposing fortifications, and a wide variety of hotels, Cascais is a great option for every season.

King Luís II used the city as his summer residence from 1870 to 1908, attracting other celebrities, and changing the destiny of the tranquil village forever. Modern roads and railway lines linking to Lisbon and Sintra were built, as well as a casino and other facilities. Some of the best hotels and 5-star resorts in Cascais date back to these times.

Nowadays, the town is a cosmopolitan beach retreat along the Estoril Coast, where people from Lisbon and other Portugal cities come for a day or weekend escapade. Many foreign tourists prefer its more relaxed hotels over the sometimes hectic Lisbon atmosphere.

Don’t miss the Citadel, rebuilt during the 16th century in a typical star-shaped Renaissance style. Other attractions include the Museum of the Sea and the ‘Paula Rego House of Stories’.

Beach hotels are the gem of Cascais and you can find a wide range on Booking.com. Check your availability with enough time in advance, as the city remains a popular summer destination.

A great city with many natural and historical attractions.

A great city with many natural and historical attractions. But it seems that tourists with cars are not welcome here. Unfortunately, I did not take a photo where you would see a car parked in a clearly defined parking space with a "parking" sign next to it, with a valid (not expired) receipt for payment under the windshield and a receipt for a fine for parking in the wrong place next to it ))

    Lots of evening activity.

Lots of evening activity. Some restaurants and bars with live music. A lot of the old town has cobbled streets which are uneven and in many places some cobbles were missing, making it a poor surface to walk on. Lisbon and Sintra either a train or taxi ride away.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a health villa apartment, and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and the attention to detail in the apartment. It was not only well-maintained but also beautifully designed, making it a perfect retreat. The location was absolutely amazing—nestled in a vibrant area with a plethora of wonderful restaurants and cafes just a stone's throw away. Each dining option I tried offered delightful dishes, making it easy to enjoy a variety of cuisines during my stay. What truly set this experience apart was the owner of the villa. She is an absolute gem—so communicative and welcoming! She took the time to provide excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options, ensuring that I made the most of my visit. Her passion for hospitality really shines through, and it made me feel right at home. Overall, this health villa apartment exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to stay, with the added bonus of fantastic hospitality. I can't wait to return!

The ambience and calmness in the hotel was just what we needed after a busy week with family further north in Portugal. The location was excellent for visiting Sintra, Cascais and Lisbon. Breakfast was delicious. Steak dinner in the bar listening to Luis playing the piano and hearing his stories of Estoril Casino and Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra and Shirley Bassey.
