The room was chic! Loved the interior decor! The air conditioning kept it at a great temperature, it was well stocked with toiletries, the staff was very gracious and helpful (taxi reservations, dinner reservations) and the hotel was located next to all the action! And loved that the lobby was a very inviting place to socialize! (And loved the welcome cocktail!)

The hotel location is downtown center of Lisbon. VERY convenient. The breakfast is buffet style and was perfect and delicious. Our room was very comfortable - especially the bedding. Our only "complaint" was attempting to understand the various electrical switches in our room and what they connected to and/or did. Example: if you pressed the wrong button the power to the plugs would inexplicably turn off and you didn't realize it. We also would mention that the rooms all have bathtubs that may be a bit difficult for older travellers to get in and out of (tub sides were very high).

Decent area. Rooftop was fine when manned and open. Rooms are fine if the goods are in place and the room is set for two people and not one.

Entire staff very friendly, helpful, courteous, and professional. Small buffet with snacks/coffee/ice cream machine (very popular), coffee, and water was a nice option. Breakfast in the restaurant was a great value and very good food and service. Had a couples spa treatment (20 min included at no cost with the room and added extra time) that was exceptional. This is truly an historic hotel with a small museum with it's history/articfacts/reading room on the lower level.
