If you have a car this is a fantastic location. Less than 30 minutes away to Lisbon and short drives to bigger shops and malls. The area itself was super nice and calm and right next to a beach which wasn't too crowded.

An extremely charming ‘local Portuguese’ town with many excellent restaurants on the Tagus river estuary across the vasco de gama bridge from Lisbon. an easy jaunt by car or by the ferry at Montijo. This is a lovely relaxing village, not a place for nightlife and excitement; for that you have to go to lisbon. With that said, the bartenders at Pelourinho make a great Manhattan!JohnUnited States of America

We were surprised how beautiful it was and how big and comfortable the room was. We´ve even got a welcome cookies upon arrival. Breakfast was amazing and there was plenty of food of any choice. The best thing was the rooftop pool which we were allowed to use even in the evening, as our check in was a little bit late and had the pool to ourself, and as a bonus, with a great view.

They very helpfully arranged transport to a wedding we were attending for 11 people, and booked us a table at a local restaurant when the hotel one was full. The pool area is lovely and the bedrooms are a good size. Had a massage while there which was great, very relaxing. The food in the restaurant was very good.

Alcochete is a pretty small town with a great view of Lisbon across the water. Deluxe room is spacious with a seating area at the end of the bed and lovely window seats overlooking a garden. This is my go-to accommodation when I need to be near Lisbon.

You need a car for sure but within minutes you’re in Montijo which has the Alegro forum and minutes to the outlet mall in Alcochete. Driving distance to 4-5 major supermarkets. And the Hosts were wonderful and attentive. Can’t wait to visit again !
