Bathroom doors needs reparing
Historic building in beautiful neighborhood and garden district. Really helpful and caring staff, nice breakfast
Owner was not that nice when first meeting me...guess it was all my tattoos. I Didnt appreciate her unwelcoming glare and demeanor.
Loved the room, location, off street parking, Inn keeper and breakfast!
I have no complaints
The staff and the breakfast
I especially enjoyed visiting with other guests over breakfast.
Location was excellent, price was great and all staff were very helpful and obliging!!! Would highly recommend it!!
Rather pricey for what is offered
Friendly, home-run atmosphere and proximity to tram
Everyone was so friendly and helpful!
The shower looked OK! But only just OK!! That was as good as it got. The shower was dangerously hot, scalding hot, there was no mid-point between balancing freezing cold and scaldingly hot. I tried and failed and I am a dab-hand at getting the balance right - but not this shower. If a child had used this shower - ouch!!!. I mentioned this at breakfast and was offered a shower elsewhere - too little, too late - I was ready for breakfast before my cab pickup. What is the point of an en-suite if you can't use it? I was told a plumber would be called, fair enough! But that didn't help me.
The place was clean, but could do with a lick of paint. The furniture was serviceable but old. The place needs .... a face-lift!
Very convenient location with extremely helpful staff and a very comfy room.
The location was really good, it was very close to the center. The staff was amazing and very kind.. We spent good time in Fairchild!
Minor things: Room was a bit small (but then again, it is a 1841 house) and breakfast should have a bit more selection and salty/savory stuff
This b&b was a charm. really old house renovated and turned into a small hotel with all the traditional architecture and feeling kept intact. Very conveniently located, right next to the streetcar stop on a quiet and peaceful road in garden district. There are shops and restaurants near by in St. Charles str.only one block away. Even walking to French Quarter is 15'. Neighborhood is safe and nice. Staff was courteous, polite and welcoming.
Inn keeper was very nice and helpful.
Could use some upgrades in decor and comfort
Within walking distance to everything
We arrived late in the evening and was welcomed ... breakfast was delightful and everyone was friendly.... owner and guests....very nice start to the day.
Very pleasant stay in all aspects .. Hostess, breakfast, wifi, location and Parking.
Owner very friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Great suggestions on sites to see and places to eat
if you don't like rustic style, it may not be for you, but it is great.
location and the house style, service is also great
The rooms are not furnished with modern trappings and it's not a place where you will lay in bed and watch a big screen television. That being said the only reason to stay in bed in New Orleans involves a hangover and the best remedy for that is hair of the dog, so get out of bed and enjoy the town.
Easily accesible location. Quick walk to the St. Charles Streetcar and the Warehouse District. The buildings have a lot of character and is right around the corner from and awesome park for a morning run or afternoon walk.
Should have queen in all rooms for two, a double is a bit tight
Staff, facility and location
Room could use some repairs.
Owner is very accommodating; very good location with good restaurants and cable car nearby and proximity to museums; and nice breakfast.
The construction at 8am on a Saturday morning and the worker directly outside the bathroom window as we were trying to shower and get ready. He could see directly into our bathroom!!! Creepy
the door in the shower was broken
location , breakfast and the staff
