I was miserable and hated the whole location. I'm not 12 years old. I got evicted at 11 pm on Friday, April 26, 2024 for smoking medical cannabis in my room. I had 15 minutes to get out and had to go to a homeless shelter since they cleaned out my bank account. Miserable for 4 hours walking around in circles. No honor bar, no restaurant menus for room service or even good food anymore. Welcome to an adult nightmare.

Room was clean and the facilities provided everything we needed. The curtains were brilliant room darkening ones. Breakfast & pool were a reason for choosing this hotel and they were both very good.

I got the 2 bedroom suite that comes with 1 king bed in one room and 2 queen in the other. Both bedroom were spacious and clean. I like how both bedroom and the living room were all equipped with its own flat screen tv. In according to that, I like how the king bedroom has its own full bathroom. I asked the staff to make my reservation a special stay because it was going to be my wife's first time experience with a hotel suite. I want to thanked them for going beyond my expectations.

Exploring Los Angeles, the place where movies are made, you feel like you’re in a dream. Santa Monica Pier is the end point of the fabled Route 66, while just south is bohemian Venice Beach, lined by tall, swaying palms. Go slightly inland from the boardwalk to catch a glimpse of the canals that earned the area its name.
Head north to the golden beach and stunning scenery of Malibu and see why movie stars over the decades have settled here. Also popular with the rich and famous are Bel Air and Beverly Hills, home to exclusive Rodeo Drive.
And the reason for all this glitz and glamour? Hollywood, of course! Sitting high on a hill, the iconic sign is visible for miles around, while below the gold stars on Hollywood Boulevard immortalize celebrities of past and present. Be there on premiere night to see them grace the red carpet of Grauman’s Chinese Theater.
Over the hill is Universal Studios, with behind-the-scenes tours as well as rides. Next door are the Warner Brothers Studios, and Paramount Studios are closer to Downtown LA.
Whether you decide to live like a star in a luxury LA hotel or choose a cheap motel through Booking.com, it’s worth renting a car to get around this sprawling city and out to Los Angeles Airport (LAX).
LA is huge. I would recommend either hiring a car or staying in 2 different locations during your stay. On reflection we would have stayed 2 nights in Santa Monica and the rest (4) in Hollywood or West Hollywood.

Our visit to Los Angles was great.
Our visit to Los Angles was great. We stayed in the Marina Del Rey area and were within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and attractions. What i like about the city the most is that there are endless things to do. What i didn't like about the area was the parking. The parking is very expensive and finding free parking to anything is impossible. Also, while traveling through out the city, the traffic is horrible, no matter the time of day. So if you plan to visit, plan accordingly.

We enjoyed it but crammed a lot into a few days.
We enjoyed it but crammed a lot into a few days. I Would recommend staying a week if you are trying to see/do a lot in your time here. Or planning to do tours or tapings of tv shows. As those take up a lot of your day.
I would recommend the WB studio tour plus if you are a fan of Friends or The Big Bang Theory. The Chinese Theater is neat with all the foot and hand prints of different stars.
Recommend Lake Hollywood Park for your Hollywood sign pictures. Also, taking the 45 minute drive to catch a sunset at the Santa Monica pier and of course your picture with the end of Route 66 sign are things you must do also!

there were some highlights - amazing parks and Rodeo Drive was a great visit (not to shop mind you - bit out of my price range!!) but what a beautiful street.
I found LA to be rather bedraggled, dirty and worn.
1 day & night would have sufficed rather than 2 nights - our 2 night stay included a 5.5 hour driven tour of the high spots
You could drive past this California bungalow fronted building without thinking there was a lovely little boutique hotel that extends out the back and up for 4 floors.
The proprietor and the front desk were lovely and accommodating people.
A simple but excellent continental breakfast with some of the best croissants I've ever had on the west coast of the USA.
Finally through the rooftop area with seating and drinks for sundown is a real seller.
I could not have been happier with my stay in LA.
-Conveniently located in the heart of Little Tokyo
-Cheapest rates in the area
-Very hospitable staff
-Very clean facilities despite its age
-Located near alot of good food spots & nearby a future metro stop.
-keys are used for entering rooms, and accessing the main and outer door. I know it's primarily due to age and hasn't been updated. I think that this makes it very unique since most hotels have updated to key-cards or apps.
-There's a laundry room (Come prepared with coins)
Brand new hotel with fantastic design and architecture, nice location (not much around, but quite central in Los Angeles, and very easy to access many neighboorhood with a car - I found the location more convenient than my previous hotel in downtown for example). The pool as well is great (a lot of sun to lie next to the nicely heated pool even in January). Very good value for the price, my favorite hotel in Los Angeles, will definitely come back !
The best place to stay when visiting LA, in a perfect location 1 minute walk from the Walk of Fame. Our room was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed for a great stay, the beds were so comfortable. The staff - at the front desk and at breakfast - was just great and the parking was also very convenient. We will return and recommend this hotel to all our friends who visit Los Angeles.
Fantastic location, a ten minute maximum walk from Hollywood Blvd and the closest Metro station. The room itself is what I would call “budget chic”. You’d have no idea it was a cheaper option if you didn’t look closely. It had the feel of an expensive hotel, without the price tag and without the “hoity toity” if you know what I mean. The young lady at the reception desk was so wonderful as well.
I always choose to stay at Hampton Inn for first night after long flight whenever I visit Los Angeles. It offers great value for money with its comfortable beds, cozy pillows, and cleanliness. The hotel's proximity to the airport is a major advantage, making it a convenient choice for travelers. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and hassle-free stay near the airport.
Amazing apartment with an incredible view of Hollywood hills and downtown Los Angeles. The apartment is very private, comfortable with many luxury’s that I have never dreamed of…soundbar, heated floors and toilet seat, rain shower and bidet of all things. You could spend all day in the apartment but there is a huge city out there to be explored. We will definitely be back!!
Nestled in the neighborhood of West Downtown L.A., this hotel may be situated in a dingy and sketchy area, but I surprisingly felt safe throughout my stay. Despite the neighborhood's atmosphere, the hotel itself showcased a cool, modern vibe one would associate with a boutique hotel, although the lobby and elevator's heavy use of air freshener was a bit overkill.
Great location only 10 minutes walk to the hall of fame and the hollywood downtown area, plenty of shops and bars and things to do all around, we picked this hotel as its 1 stop from universal studios.
The hotel itself had nice staff that allowed us to leave luggage when we checked out and also provided us with hot water for tea and breakfast in the mornings.
Excellent cost-benefit report at a typical standard found in the Best Western hotels chain. Free parking, breakfast included, and several amenities in the room. If you count their value (i.e., for a family of four members), you end up with one of the cheapest accommodations in LA at Best Western standards (i.e., cleanliness, etc).
Received a Great room! Being a older Hotel, I was afraid of stuff creaking and making noises. Luckily I had none of those experiences. Hotel is very well maintained, great amenities, and of course almost nothing beats the Location. Overall, amazing value and definitely one of the best hotels in Downtown Los Angeles for its price.
Compared to the hotels in this area/ west LA, Hilton Culver City was the best bag for your buck. The price to cleanliness/ modern ratio was the best I could find. Other hotels of this cleanliness and reliability in the area were a lot more expensive and anything cheaper was kinda dirty looking/ or hostels.
Room was very clean and had a surprisingly comfortable bed. The location is outstanding, being a short walk from the Hollywood walk of fame and plenty of tour options nearby. There is a 10% discount at a nearby cafe for breakfast. The room was cheap for the area and felt secure.
Hotel was clean, well managed and located in a safe and pleasant part of Los Angeles. Can highly recommend for anyone visiting LA for the first time in the downtown area, or those looking to return and find somewhere comfortable and very pleasant.
Good quality hotel , nice & clean. 1.5 miles from santa monica pier area so need to have car or use Lyft but still cheaper to stay here and pay for taxis than stay nearer pier area. Friendly staff and free basic breakfast. Comfy queen size beds
nice part of the city in the middle of everything by little tokyo and downtown area by the clubs/bars. friendly desk clerk when we arrived and the one during graveyard shift. cute hotel very clean nice room and bathroom/tub/shower.
Great hotel, always clean and very friendly staff. Location is 2 minutes from the walk of fame and Hollywood bowl but location isn’t the best. Wouldn’t stay in that area again- alot of homeless and didn’t feel safe.
Great Host 😃 Benjamin Adams was truly amazing! He also provided Candy in the Common Area for Guests! He Keeps the House very clean! Very Friendly Environment. By Far Best Hostel in Los Angeles, California
Location is nice near the beach in downtown Venice. It is also one of the cheaper places to stay in the area. I had a private room which is good size and I found very comfortable
