Please monitor the weather reports by month and plan your trip. Please book hotels inside Old Quarter. Please do not hesitate to ask bargain from souvenir sellers. We were too unlucky to face Typhoon Yagi and could not make sea cruise tours. Anyway, we can say we could witness the typhoon.

Hanoi is a fascinating city with many warm welcoming people. There is much to see and do in the city and within a few hours of driving or train. Some remnants of the long conflict are a reminder of the horrors of war. A tour of the city was so helpful, and I would not miss a street food tour, either.
