The room I stayed in 601 had the best view of sunset park. You can see the tower. You can see the more state building. The empire State building. Its looks so pretty at night with all the lights lit up.

We only needed it as someplace to sleep so it was OK. We arrived very late due to traffic travelling from Bradley Int. Airport. and had no trouble checking in. we were hungry and too keyed up to sleep so we went to the Sunset Park Diner just down the street. That was the best part of the whole stay. The 24 hour diner was a treasure. Great food and excellent service.

So giving it high marks means there is little alternative. That said, staff were very attentive and pleasant, it's clean, and convenient to visiting our son's family. This is not a great tourist area, you mainly come here to visit family or friends.

That was really what made my stay. The lobby and breakfast area are pretty nice. Breakfast also looked decent. I like that the room had tile and not carpet and the hotel was pretty quiet even though I was off the lobby, which was a surprise. Great pillows. Great cable selection. I'm so happy that this hotel is in Sunset Park. The area needs more nice hotels!AbigailUnited States of America
