Two "MUSTS" for Santa Fe PLAZA, both there for many years: 1. Go to the "Five & Dime" for terrific variety of gifts, snacks, T-shirts, drugstore stuff, hotdogs, etc. at very reasonable prices. 2. Go to THE PLAZA Restaruant for a good meal alongside all the "Regulars." Probably a lot of artists go there.

You can't go to Santa Fe without going to the plaza...It's a square with park in the middle. There a shops, restaurants, etc. in the area as well as Native artisans displaying their wares along one side (for sale). The park is shaded with benches etc. and often Native American dancers, etc.

I love this centre of the old town. It's surrounded by lovely restaurants, cafes and shops. The night I visited the plaza, there was a band playing, and visitors dancing. It is safe, clean, and a very welcoming place to visit.

A lot of aggressive foreign shopkeepers using high pressure sales techniques. one guy tried to sell us a turquoise ring. i examined it closely and saw that the stone had been dyed. i showed it to him and he said the white color was from grinding the stone. afterwards he said that the stone was no good. we couldn't run out of that store fast enough!

While on the plaza visit the New Mexico Museum of Art and the Museum of Contemporary Native Arts--they had some great movies. Although it's a little ways off, SITE always has interesting exhibits. If you belong to other museums, you may have reciprocal visiting privileges. We were able to visit most of the museums free of charge.

Our apartment was above and beyond my expectations! It felt homey and comfortable, and was much bigger than expected. Everything was clean and perfectly equipped. The kids loved the pool and we appreciated the pretty view from the balcony, plus the easy walk to the plaza.

La Fonda is our favorite place to stay when visiting Santa Fe. The location is spectacular for doing ALL things Santa Fe. The Plaza restaurant in the hotel is great and we love to end the evening at the lounge listening to live music and dancing.

We loved everything about the Inn on the Alameda. It starts with the employees. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect...a short walk to the Plaza in Santa Fe and Canyon Road. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast good. They even had a free shuttle to take you around town since parking can be difficult. They had free parking on site which was a blessing. We would love to stay there again! Wonderful hotel with wonderful people in an amazing city!

The hotel was 3 blocks from The Plaza and within walking distance of most everywhere we wanted to go to. Our vehicle stayed parked the whole time. The hotel is older, so the room/closet-dressing area was spacious. You can tell at some recent point it has been completely remodeled. It really fit in with the area and it felt like I was staying in SANTA FE. The bed was super comfortable, and staff was accommodating to the few things we asked them about/needed.

The hotel is locating within walking distance to the Plaza and other tourist and shopping areas. The Inn is a motel not a hotel but it was still relatively quiet. The room is decorated nicely in the style you would expect for Santa Fe.

The location of the Sage is perfect for exploring downtown Santa Fe and a quick drive/ride to other parts of the city. The staff at the Sage are very friendly and helpful. Happy hour at the hotel bar was very enjoyable with music most nights. The room was comfortable, safe and furnished as expected. Breakfast was pretty standard fare, but well prepared and available for a good time-frame. The free shuttle to the plaza was convenient and easy to utilize.

The mattress was super comfy - would love to know what kind it was! Also, the breakfast that was provided was excellent. Enjoyed the vibe of the hotel, very cute and very "Santa Fe". Room was super clean and seemed like it had been recently updated. Easy walking distance to the plaza and lots of restaurants.

Our stay at The Parador was very pleasant! The rooms we booked were a good size and were well cleaned and the beds were comfortable. The staff serving breakfast were very polite and helpful and everyone enjoyed the creative breakfast options. This hotel is also a great home base for exploring central Santa Fe, with a short walk to the plaza.

The hotel is lovely - so "Santa Fe!" The room was spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed taking the shuttle to the Plaza - we not only got a ride, but a golf lesson from Patrick! Breakfast and dinner were excellent! Service was excellent! [We especially liked Andrea's attentive, pleasant service. She was there for us!] The front desk staff were all welcoming and attentive. We look forward to our stay at the Hotel Santa Fe one day soon!
