We were only there for 1 night. From what I saw and experienced; it is a beautiful place to visit and experience the lifestyle.. It is very easy to get around and the evening life is very active but quite peaceful. The outdoor plaza is a great place to visit with it many restaurants and varied foods. Our stay was absolutely wonderful — we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The apartment is in a perfect location — ideal both for day trips outside central Ostia and for easy access to the beach, which is just a 10-minute walk away. The beaches were clean and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing. The flat is fully equipped with everything you might need, including an iron — a detail I really appreciated. We were warmly welcomed with bottled drinking water in the fridge, coffee, and some small snacks — a lovely touch. Communication with the host was excellent — friendly, responsive, and reliable throughout our stay. You can’t go wrong with food anywhere you choose — after all, it's Italy! I use Lido di Ostia as a jump off spot on arrival and a rest spot before leaving for my transatlantic flight. It is very close to Fiumicino and some nice restaurants, bars and night spots at the port.
