Staff were very good and very friendly and definitely wanted to do everything to help so definitely a huge plus and the only positive thing about Prague where generally the public doesn't like tourists. The one bathroom in the family room was small and non pork options at breakfast were limited and the carpets were stained. However, I do think that compared to Prague in general, it's better than most of the city where you get scammed by the government even in the metro with unreasonable fines even when you have validated tickets if you are a tourist as there are officials hunting to fine tourists these days especially families.

Everything from the staff from the reception to the room, location, food, pool. The room is big , with an enormous bed and it has the best view in the morning and also in the night ( you can see the old town and admire its beauty). On the day of the arrival, it was my husband's birthday, and I sent an email with 2 days in advance and asked them if they could help me to leave a note on the bed from me and my daughter. They helped with more than that and left on the room the note, a cake, and a box with macaroons. Amazing! Thank you, Orea Hotel, again ! The breakfast has a variety of food from salads, different types of bread and sweets, eggs, sausages, cheeses, yogurt, normal milk, and diaryfree milk, food for babies and last but not least coffee made by a barista which is so sweet, calm and with a huge smile on her face even there are a lot of people expecting for a coffee made by her. Beside of the breakfast, during the day you can eat at they restaurant. Modern looking and the food : no words to describe how it looks or the taste. Just perfect! The pool is clean and has enough space for the guests as I think people dont stay only at the hotel and are enjoying the beauty of Prague. They also have a gym, quite small, but you can find space to make your routine if you really want to. More over if you have a kid, a Fox , the mascot of the hotel , comes in the morning to say hello to the kids. During the day, they have a lot of activities for your kid and also a playgroung in the hotel.

FAQs about hotels in Prague

Discover the Magic of Prague

The Czech capital is nothing short of magical, with Prague’s countless bridges, cathedrals, domes and castles reflected in the Vltava River. Thankfully, the city escaped most of WWII’s destruction, leaving the rich history and fairytale facade of this Bohemian city intact.

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.

Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.

The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Flights arriving at Vaclav Havel International Airport will be in the city center after a short subway ride. For historic hotels, cheap hostels or charming apartments head to Booking.com for nearly 700 accommodations in Prague.

Prague is a stunningly beautiful city with well-preserved buildings, and it fully deserves its place on the UNESCO list. It is easy to walk around, and you can easily hop on a tram, which is a charming experience. The Charles Bridge is a beautiful spot, as is Prague Castle, which you can visit.

Prague was a city that far exceeded my expectations. The Charles Bridge and the Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral provided an amazing backdrop. The history and culture of this ancient crossroads to Europe has endured centuries of change and sheds a light of the wonder of humanity. Additionally I must note the public transportation really connected every part of the city.

Order and cleanliness, transport is 24h.

Order and cleanliness, transport is 24h. Very greeting and polite people, especially at hospitality sphere, everybody knows English, + some speak other languages also like Italian, Russian, etc. City is gorgeus, with a lot of trees, parks and bushes. Lot of police at night near clubs. Streets are safe and very few immigrants in general. Must visit - Prague Castle, Narodni Museum, Old town center,Charles Bridge, Prague Zoo, From airport 25 min and 18 eur. by taxi to Hotel Atlantic, near Paladium shopping center, but there are also other options available.

The location is the best in Prague in the midddle of the old town square which is pedestrian with lots of restaurants and most importantly absolutely opposite the world famous clock. After a long day of sight seeing we would have a glass of wine in our hands and watch the clock chime from the comfort of the Grand Hotel Prague's gorgeous lounge. A sight that absolutely must not be missed.

Rooms very clean and spacious. Bed was very comfy with two huge pillows. Shower was hot and toiletres were provided. Breakfast was a bit chaotic as the hotel guests decided to eat at the same time 😄 so space was limited. Foodwise average. Good value for money and really nice location so close to Old town square and the restaurants.
