The hotel is in a nice setting and has potential. Room was Ok although my mothers room was very cold (the word she used was "arctic"). When we asked about the heating which only came on at 8am (seems very late) she was offered a small electric heater. I also heard other guests mention their heating was not on in their room.

Loved the location, but also very happy with the hotel. Staff extremely helpful and patient, really made an effort with our anxious little dog- loved the fact that it was so dog friendly in general, gardens lovely and lead straight into the New Forest- mind blowing. Will definitely go back!

The location was great. Access to the new forest was beautiful from the gardens of the hotel. We didnt eat at the hotel so I cant comment on that but there are a couple of nice country pubs five minutes drive away which were really nice.
