The room was clean and comfortable, lots of hot water and great water pressure, large towels which was great. The food at the pub was great and well priced and the staff super friendly. There are multiple stores including a super market and pharmacy within a 1min walk which was fantastic.
The hotel is also very secure with multiple scan-in access points which was great.

Had a great stay at the Bel and Dragon. We stayed in the family room which was great for us. The bunk beds are in a separate area of the bedroom so once the children were asleep we were still able to have lights on and watch TV in the part of the room without waking them.
The staff were fantastic with a special shout out to Anya who greeted us every morning for breakfast and was really attentive and made us feel welcome.
Our little one has a milk allergy and they were able to cater well for him and offer alternative milk etc easily which made our stay so much easier.
We will definitely be back when we are in the area.
The hotel is placed in an amazing location and there are a great variety of activities that can be done during the stay. The surroundings are spectacular and the staff is really gentle and caring. Specifically the manager in charge of the terrace. His name is Jose and he is very professional and agile. The kind of staff that we would expect to be working in four seasons. The tennis instructor - Nikola - was also outstanding and very charming.
The room is really comfortable and the cleanliness is remarkable.
it is a lovely, historic Inn. Proper “inn” style where you arrive into the bar and the rooms are at the back. The food is excellent - great British basics like steak and ale pie!
The staff are really friendly and kind. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and the location is the heart of historic Hampshire with beautiful countryside and many walks and attractions around.
I would definitely recommend the Winchfield Inn as a cosy, down to earth base for exploring the area. it’s very good value for money.
Great hotel especially with kids. Staff are lovely. A few issues during our stay- the air conditioning unit was so loud on the second night no one could sleep. Not really what you expect from a hotel or this calibre (and they only removed service charge for this 🤣). We may have just been unlucky with that so would highly recommend.
Lovely rural “local” pub but located opposite Winchfield Railway Station with direct access to London Waterloo (50 mins) and the South Coast.
Easy access to local villages.
Large garden; ideal for families.
Spotlessly clean; comfortable room … great sleep!
Food available if required.
Pat and Lyn great hosts!
Great rural location but with easy driving access to some lovely local villages. Opposite Winchfield rail station which is on main line from Central London to the south coast.
Comfortable clean cosy pub with friendly staff and owners. Lovely beer garden and large car park.
Good sized clean room.
The rooms were newly refurbished and looked better than the pictures on the booking site. Plenty of fun activities to book and enjoy. The hotel is dog friendly, my pooch enjoyed being with us almost everywhere. The swimming pool and spa were so lovely. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
We visited the hotel during the Christmas season, and it was beautifully decorated, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The grounds were also stunning.
Our room and the hotel grounds were impeccably clean.
Everything was excellent, as a family getaway. The hotel thought about everything. Sante restaurant food was surprisingly good. Service was always available and responsive.
