Mulgrave Country Cottage is absolutely gorgeous, quiet, well furnished, has beautiful art of the local area throughout and was a really enjoyable stay. The breakfast was fantastic and checking in and out was easy. The heated bathroom floor was fun and our room had its own entrance to the outside with a hallway bench - quite nice. The King bed was comfortable with nice bedding. We LOVED the short, beautiful stroll into Sandsend and had our best pub meal of our entire UK trip at The Hart Inn. I took a chance being a person with dog allergies and was very happy (and impressed) that although dog friendly, the rooms were spotless, did not have any animal smells and I had no animal allergies.

I have stayed here before and it is absolutely spotlessly clean, the bathroom is very modern and the bed is really comfortable and it's handy for all the shops and bars but still slightly away from all the hustle and bustle.

The apartment was lovely and the view fabulous. The owners had really thought about what a visitor would need. A lot of thought and care went into making their visitors feel welcome. Great location too, we had a lovely few days.

    Great location, in a quiet area on West Cliff. Just a short walk to the town centre & harbour. Owners were friendly, helpful & welcoming. Room was very clean & comfortable. Good, powerful shower. Fresh coffee, towels etc. On street parking available at low cost. Excellent, good value, freshly cooked breakfast available. All good.

    Ideal location for the shops, bars and restaurants. Only 5 minutes walk to the Main Street. The room was very clean and also has a 23rd bottle of water, biscuits, kettle, tea, coffee, hairdryer. Iron and ironing board was available too. I booked room 5 which doesn’t have an Ensuite however there was a bathroom just for my use (got a key) this didn’t bother me at all. All other rooms do have there own bathroom. Host was friendly and parking is cheap just outside if there is space. If not there was a car park a couple of minutes away on foot
