Pristine motel. Cleanliness was 10/10. Absolutely wonderful manager who made our stay so comfortable and safe for our extremely vulnerable 8 week old daughter, it honestly made our week. We will be back again as often as we can.

Ralph was waiting for us upon arrival and was extremely cordial and willing to share with us where to go and eat, visit, etc. Rooms are large and impeccably clean fully fitted. We just felt that we could have done with a few more days there. The location was easy to find and Healesville is a perfect place to stay while visiting Yarra Valley

Some great restaurants, wasy access to other towns in the area. Distinct lack of tourist information. Ok if you like to use a display board; pamphlet available seems to be all about wineries, and food. The library does have some info but not a lot. Sanctuary is great, wear comfortable shoes, plan for a weekend when more shops are open, Wednesday and Thursday not great!.

One of the larger townships in the Yarra Valley.
One of the larger townships in the Yarra Valley. A great spot to base your travels from - so quick and close to places like Warburton and Yarra Glen. Some of the tourist information specific to Healesville are a bit outdated (like viewing points that are now overgrown with trees so now there's no view to be had), so just check things before you head out to them.
The Thai resataurant in Healesville was lovely and great value for money. We can also highly recommend the Dark Horse Cafe just out of Yarra Glen - lovely warm hospitality to be had there with very filling and delicious food.

Great place to stay!
Great place to stay! We had such a good time and the cafes and shops were all very friendly. The food was fantastic with so many options. Lots to do around Healesville itself. Highly recommend Marooondah Reservoir for a picnic, walk and explore.

Excellent position close to shops , cafes etc. a cosie cottage that fitted 8 adults. It wasn’t a spacious place but was well equipped with everything you might need for a short stay. The only thing we couldn’t find was a chopping board .
We stayed for 1 night with 3 litlle kids and it was nice. The cabin is good and got all you need in the kitchen. The place is very basic, nothing special but all is well maintained. The place it self is very nice, got litlle park to walk in and it's clean and well mainteind. We stayed in december so all the houses were decaroted for the holiday and it was lovely. Nice place for kids, they gave them a litlle tresure hunt with some candy at the end and they loved it.
Sunset Cottage has all the provisions for a comfortable and homely stay. The cottage itself is beautifully designed, with eclectic furnishings and a rustic architectural interior. The pictures don’t do it justice! It’s surprisingly warm and cosy – making it the perfect place for weekend getaway. The hosts really go the extra mile to ensure you’re looked after – with the incision of a breakfast hamper and chocolates on the bedside tables.
Mike and Jenna were the best hosts that we have ever had the pleasure to experience in a vacation rental. They were very exceptional in their detail to welcoming and taking care oi our very need. Great story telling and amenities! We will be recommending their place to all of our friends and family and business associates! We hope to stay with them again and keep in contact with them going forward.
The property is beautiful and very well appointed. Pat, the host, is lovely and was amazing, happy to answer any question before and during our stay. The cottage is beautiful decorated with an eclectic mix of decor, which helps to makes you feel you are on holiday.
We had a wonderful stay and have recommended to many family and friends. Perfect place to stay for a getaway in the Yarra Valley.
Checking in and out was very easy. The staff member who welcomed us was very friendly. We stayed in the family room - very quiet and spacious. Air conditioning and wifi worked very well. Bed in main room was comfy. Location short drive to central Healesville, but super close to the Sanctuary if that is your main destination. Nice and clean, and bathroom well stocked.
The hosts were friendly and very attentive to our requests. We stayed at White Rose Cottage, the property was very spacious, clean and comfortable, also close to Healsville town center. Big enough for two families. The kids had fun, feeding donkeys and sitting by outdoor fire in the evening, roasting marshmallows. We would definitely come back again.

We stayed in the three bedroom cottage & it really exceeded our expectations! A lovely, clean, spacious house with everything we could need plus more. The grounds are so beautifully presented & well maintained. Ralph went out of his way to assist us during our stay, & if we ever come back to Healesville we would definitely book again!
Beautiful property, very clean, amazing baths and showers. The location is perfect if you’re wanting to explore the the region and especially if you want to be able to walk around Healesville.
Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friend and family.
Great location, within walking distance of the town. A very tame family of Kookaburras visited, perching on the balcony and the bedroom window ledge which was good fun. Stayed two nights, would have liked to stay longer.
It was clean, with spacious rooms. Quiet but close to town.
Guests could use the house living areas outside an in. Delicious breakfast and friendly owners.
