BelgiumAmazing location, in the woods by a creek. Very close to Lake Louise on one side, and Johnston Canyon on the other. The Family Bungalow is perfect for 2+2, has a fireplace, nicely equipped kitchen etc. We'd definitely stay there again.

- We came late for the check-in but luckily the manager was living there in campground that helped us checking in.
- The campground has multiple cabins. The bedding are super clean. Although we have to share the kitchen and the firepit, everbody were gentle and mindful the other groups’ privacy.
- The view is awesome. We have a river run by the campground. It is beautiful.

I paid nearly $800 per night expecting a quiet, nature-focused stay, as advertised on the hotel’s website. Instead, I was first given a noisy room, and then moved to another that smelled strongly of bleach and had a broken window. Despite my allergy, no alternative room was offered. The bleach fumes caused severe headaches that required painkillers, and by the second day, ants had entered the room. The Lake access can be difficult due to the massive crowds Lake Louise, such that hundreds of people walk 1-2 miles uphill just to get to the lake, because parking lot is full by 8:00 AM. As someone who visited Lake Louise in 2007 the experience was different at that time we could drive right up to the hotel and that makes it a difficult for people with disabilities. It actually exceeded my expectations! Wow what a wonderful place to stay, I actually felt privileged. Lake Louise was just breathtaking, the colour was stunning. We canoed on it and walked round it, it’s a different colour from every angle. The shops in the hotel, the restaurants and bars…you don’t need to step foot outside.
