We were caught in a jail storm while on the Camino and arrived wet and cold. Staff provided us with a portable heater, upon request, to heat our room and dry our clothes.

This is a beautiful place to stay on the edge of Belorado only a quick access to the Camino Way. The old building is still under development but it’s a beautiful project and a fantastic host

Excellent hospitality from every person who works there, especially Melanie.
Good dinner in the restaurant - don't miss the cheesecake!
I had a private room, and the shower was fantastic.

There is not much to do there, but walk around and see the historic buildings. There is a summer church and a winter church obviously.
If you need any help, there is an info center, and people seem really helpful.
Also the locals help without being prompted.
You can use a bank card for payment in the grocery store.
This albergue was the first to be encountered when entering Belorado. The restaurant there served a remarkably good and remarkably huge dinner. One could choose from several options for the first course, the second course, and dessert. The prices were very reasonable. I managed to eat only the first course, a huge bowl of white bean soup with sausage and bread that was extraordinarily wonderful, but which I regretted the following day. I could see at the table next to me that the second course had an astonishingly large portion of meat.
This is my second camino and i'm always sleeping in private rooms as i want to avoid people snoring or going to the bathroom every 5 minutes. As you can guess that means i slept in quite a few hotels and hostels. This one, La Huella Del Camino, is one of the very very best on the whole camino! The food in the restaurant is also more than excellent, do yourself a favor and try it. The host is very friendly, a big bath tub to relax in after a day of hiking, hygiene is excellent, great bed... what else can you wish for?
EVERYTHING. I loved that the shared room didn’t have bunk beds, they were just normal one level beds. The beds were super comfy and had two nice blankets. Everyone got a very spacious locker. the bathrooms were nice and clean. the breakfast and dinner were the best I’ve had ever at a hostel not only on the trail but all the hostels and hotels I’ve stayed at in all my travels. The host cooked the meals by hand right in front of you.
I can see the owners have a big pride in their property and they really should. Such a beautiful hostel with a minimalist design and very comfortable. Both their dinner and breakfast highly recommend. Wish we can speak Spanish so that we can communicate with them. Their Mini Market is very chic and practical, too. We will definitely come back if we ever go back to Belorado again.
The pizza was delicious. I liked the atmosphere of the place, like a campground. It had sort of a camp lodge feel, and I am a fellow pilgrims all seemed very relaxed and comfortable there. It's conveniently located just as you come into Belorado, and it's easy to find your way back to the Camino the following morning.
This place is a small, very clean hotel, and a pleasant place to stay along the Camino. Our room was quiet even though we could hear other guests in the hallway. The proprietor was helpful and told us where we could get both an early pilgrim's dinner and an early breakfast.
One of the best albergues on the Camino. Great beds with mattresses and sheets, fantastic choice of food, great beer and of course the pool. There’s another albergue in the centre of Belorado with a pool that’s advertised a lot, but it’s THIS one that you should stay at!
Very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable, decent bathroom, cute decor. Had my laundry washed and dried (fee) - VERY convenient! Two blocks from the main square, nice restaurant (la huella del Camino) is 1 block away on the same street. Right on the Camino de Santiago.
Private Room was lovely, bed really comfy, really clean, big outdoor area and lots of airers to dry clothes, the restaurant attached to hotel even made dinner early which was great and practically unheard of in northern Spain!! Thank you for that!!
The location of the hotel is close to centre plaza. The view of the room is spectacular, if your room is at the back side of the building, you will get to see how beautiful the summer church and the old castle are.
This is a beautiful albuergue and hotel you can have your own room with fan and bathroom and have the communal feel of an albuergue. The staff were incredible and helpful and kind especially the gents at the bar.
Really nice hotel attached to a great on-site restaurant. It’s popular with Pilgrims and near Camino trail. Food was simply delicious! My room was clean, large and good size bathroom with shower/tub.
Near the Camino route on the way out from Belorado. It is very clean, spacious, a historical building, and Fernando, the host and owner is just wonderful.
This was a wonderful stay. Everything was better than our expectations. Our bathroom was hotel standard. We even enjoyed the swimming pool - a real bonus!
Hotel A Santiago had everything required for a pilgrims stay. Clean quiet rooms. Laundry facilities. More important food and drink. Very helpful staff.
