Paris is great for a mooch about. The centre felt very safe for a lone female. Once you work out the metro and RER, it is cheap and efficient. The one bugbear was the main tourist information office being closed for renovations (Olympics?) No alternative was offered nearby. Surely a pop-up or other temporary alternative could have been thought of. I walked a long way following the signs! I also missed some stuff because I was counting on information. Paris in summer and no tourist information!

The Eiffel Tower and Disney Land are the best attractions.
The Eiffel Tower and Disney Land are the best attractions. Paris is already at the peak of technological advancement so you can experience automatic metros, and so on. But the worst part is that you will experience a real threat of pick-pocketers, cheaters, and beggars, who mostly are people of African origin. I say a big NO to stay there even if I got to stay for free!

Paris atmosphere is truly unique and buzzing with great people.
Recommend to start your walking tour from Trucadero to Eiffel tower. Incredible views!.
Prefer to eat in Bistro's, where they serve French food. Try their salads. They are so appetising and very big portions.
Avoid taking taxis during rush hours.

Paris is really gearing up for the Olympics.
Paris is really gearing up for the Olympics. My daughter and I were there in late May early June and there are already crowds at the major sights such as the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. Many famous buildings and bridges have Olympic constructions so be prepared that those amazing photos that you have planned to take may need some adjustment.
Sites such as Tour de Montparnasse and Sacre Couer/Montmarte were stunning and less crowded as was the Musee Cluny and Musee Carnavalet. Some museums are closed Monday and Tuesday so plan your trip thoroughly. Your wallet will also be hit but a visit to Paris is worth it.

Paris is a lovely city with a fine public transit system.
Paris is a lovely city with a fine public transit system. Unfortunately, if you are inclined to use taxis, your patience may be taxed at least until the Olympics are over. Various areas of the city are being turned into venues for the various events resulting in road closings that can lead to horrific traffic jams at times.
Also, my wife and I do not speak any French save for some basic words and yet we had no problem communicating since store, museum, and restaurant personnel willingly spoke English with us and were, for the most part, friendly and helpful.

There's a lot to see in and around Paris.
There's a lot to see in and around Paris. Unfortunately the transit system failed us multiple times (the little tickets don't work consistently) which added a bunch of stress. It also didn't smell great. I liked the Louvre the best, didn't have enough time there. Going up the Eiffel Tower was also cool.
We only had the breakfast on the last day, but it was a great selection, especially for the price! The decor of the rooms was also lovely - not bland chain or too weird or cheap-looking, just nice boutique hotel. Location was very useful for catching the Metro around Paris and when we arrived at Gare du Nord it was a very short walk from the station. We requested two rooms next to each other as we travelled with kids and they were able to do that no problem.
This was the great sized apartment for our family of 3. Staff were really helpful. The bathroom was a good size, bigger than we expected. The kitchen was small but had most things, no toaster as your in France 🤣. Also we had no oven but had a microwave.
The location was okay, very close to a railway station and lots of trains through the day but not through the night which is good. Wasn't to bad to get around into Paris and out to Disney Land.
very clean air conditioned apartment. it is 5 min walk to Louvre, the metro station and across from bank de France so a very safe central location.many restaurants and a couple of supermarkets in walking distance. The owner is super friendly and was there to meet us and gave us instructions and tips for the apartment and things to do in Paris. The place has 2 full bathroom and washer and dryer which was very convenient for our family with kids.
The hotel itself is beautifully appointed. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the front desk team, including Francesca, Aurélie, Philippe, Régis, and Ryan, made me feel right at home.
My room was comfortable, well-maintained, and provided a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city. The location in the 8th arrondissement is perfect for sightseeing, with easy access to many of Paris’s iconic attractions.
Great location, 10 mins walk to the tower and over the road from the Duplex metro which was a doddle to navigate and use.
Small but clean hotel with very polite and helpful staff. I’ve travelled a fair bit and this place tucked all the box’s for a relatively cheap visit to France.
We didn’t have breakfast there as there’s to many places to eat especially local bakeries .
Would definitely recommend.
The hostel is a fantastic budget option for Paris. While nothing is cheap or in the city the hostel is a more affordable option. I stayed in the female dorm which was clean at most times, but more importantly quiet and private. The dorms are very clean and built to have privacy and safety. One of my best hostel experiences while travelling not as a backpacker but as part of a city trip.
Overall, good value, especially for short stays. The rooms are small, but maybe average compared to typical hotel rooms in France, and the floor creaks when we walk. We can also hear doors opening/closing. On the other hand, if you don't stay in the room so much, this is not a big deal because the location is very convenient, beds are comfortable and the staff provides good service.
Bercy is a great area for a very cultural experience of the 🇫🇷 France.
We had Arabic/African food in the area. Bercy marche berbes has good watermelon. Very cheap too. This hotel is surrounded with good vibes
Wanderlust (sunday groove) club just 10 min walk away.
Good staff, young boy and man with glasses helped us. Theyre both very pleasant to talk to. Very cheerful
the staff are good especially the ones who is taking our luggage in and out
there are water in the toilet which is amazing
it’s safe place
the location was very good so you never get bored traveling to France it’s in the middle of the famous street
every time I come to Paris I book this hotel so I wonder why it’s only rated 7 while it should be 9
I assume this is the best value for the money in Paris. It is a small room with everything you need if you are ok with the basics—great location, restful and quiet.
We walked everywhere from here.
We got there using the metro which was cheaper than the taxi.
From the hotel to ORLY Airport was a short 18minutes ride for 27 Euros
Despite being one of the cheapest options we had, staying at this hotel was a great experience. The staff were welcoming and easy-going, and the room was very comfortable, with air conditioning, nice beds and a good TV with sports channels. Although the hotel is not directly in the city centre, it is easy to access via metro.
Nice location if you are a tourist. Lifht just reaches 5 floor, so if you are located in the 6st, you must use stairs. Recepcionist was friendly, literally, we use this hotel only for sleeping. Price, quality and location were good. Around corner you will find one of the best pizzerias in Paris, actually it was cheapest.
We had a very nice stay in Paris because of Ibis Hotel. You can travel best by metro, because it is cheap and you can travel everywhere. I would suggest metro Château Landon which is less than 5 minutes walk. The hotel room is clean, and is nice and cosy. Also the coworkers can speak fluently English.
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Bedford three nights to see the finish of the Tour de France. We loved staying at this hotel and found it to be elegant, very comfortable and clean, and the concierge service is extremely helpful. The location is outstanding for sightseeing and eating out in Paris!
I liked the location to the Paris Marathon and metro, staff was very friendly, view from my room, but that's about it. Staff offered the spa for a shower after my marathon, since I was checking out the same day. That was very nice and much appreciated before heading out to my next stop in France.
It is not what the picture shows, extremely expensive for how old and poorly maintained this hotel is, a musty and dusty smell, the paint is lifting off the walls, the Beds they show are not, it is a horrible sofa bed ....The worst hotel in our stay in France, lucky it was one night....
Who knows the usual cheaper paris hotels does not expect much- but this one actually brought what it promised in every respect. Nice, helpful staff, clean basic (but every appliance in good working condition, even the window opening, in the) room, with breakfast.
One of the very cheap hotel and very clean and a very environmental place to stay and enjoy your time in Paris. Coffees in the morning tasting very nice and strong.A hotel with a room service of an expensive hotel.
