We loved the National Trust property at Mount Stewart and found the guides so friendly and full of information and it was a beautiful place to visit inside and out. We also loved visiting the Dark Hedges and we found a beautiful book in the apartment to look at and bought our own copy as we liked it so much. We found the park that was Narnia themed due to CS Lewis being born in Belfast, we are great Narnia fans so we loved finding this. There were places I wanted to visit but didn't have enough time. Next year I will plan accordingly so I don't miss out on the places I wanted to see. This trip I was able to see the childhood home of C. S. Lewis and the sculptures in C. S. Lewis Square. The people of Belfast are the absolute joy of this planet. It's almost like you're in a country where you don't feel the need to be a bit guarded mentally, if you are a person of color. Loved Belfast, compact city centre, we saw all the main sights on our own, we walked miles and visited lots of bars for refreshments, the people were very friendly and we always ended up chatting to someone. Did the Political Troubles Walking Tour, we wouldnt have seen everything in that area without this, was great. Took a trip to the Dark Hedges, Dunluce Castle and Giants Causeway was fabulous.
