Well situated in a quaint area not far from train station. I had the pleasure of comparing prices with another hotel my unfortunate colleague booked into and which happened to be on site of the event I attended... I am happy I decided that a ride in and out of Guildford was well worth it! I definitely got good deal. I would like to thank the staff for a most pleasant stay and hope to see you again!

The pictures make the property look good but it’s awful. The parking was such a narrow path I couldn’t get my car through. Even a smaller car turned up was struggling. The woman kept apologising The toilet In en-suite was blocked and a sign saying. No toilet paper in pan. Yo had use a open small bin next to it to put your excremented toilet tissue in. I asked what food they had as I had been working hard all day (7pm ) and was told NO food I asked what tilme breakfast was. I was told no breakfast. The shower cubicle was extra small. I also asked for a room on the lower level of the hotel. Was given the tiny attic room walking up narrowest of stairs to get to. It was awful
Not happy, payed booking.com, when I got to Godalming hotel asked to pay cash for the 3 day stay ,Ended up paying double, as booking . com debeted my acc as well , Godalming hotel ripped me off, Beware !!!
We had a special purpose to visit my elderly aunt in a nursing home. It was convenient for that purpose only. Not a great selection of eateries close to hotel two pubs bit run down. We could have gone further afield but the weather was very poor plus we had been driving for 6 hours
As a general rule I don't like towns or cities, but under a blanket of snow Godalming would look like a perfect Christmas card! Quaint and interesting, very unique - a surprising little gem that I would love to visit again.
We know this quaint town well and stayed to visit friends. It’s a lovely historic town with beautiful old buildings. There are some good pubs including The Richmond Arms. The park has pleasant river walks. Godalming has a good train service to London.
I know Godalming very well as I grew up in the neighbouring town of Guildford. I came back for my friends' Engagement party which was in a lovely quaint pub up the road from the B&B. The town is very small but quaint and friendly, lots of boutique shops and lovely charity shops for finding those vintage special finds ;) Check out the Goldalming museum is you can!
Nicky and Alex were amazing with us. We were on business trip and held our meeting in here too. We felt we were looked after by Nicky and Alex. The restaurant is lovely and the lobby area / bar is very stylish. Lovely place and food was tasty too. Beautiful gardens , must go back in the summer !
As the hotel had all its staff in isolation and we were the only guests, we found the whole arrangement abit bizarre but enjoyable. We had booked before they knew about needing to self-isolate so the fact we had a room, bed and shower was much appreciated.
Uneven floor and exposed wood beams gave the room great character. Recently refitted bathroom was bijou but perfect. Fabulous breakfast. Convenient for A3 and Godalming (You can walk along the river bank)
Godalming
Beautiful old building but very modern inside. Spotlessly clean and everything in the room was high standard and very comfortable. A real gem of a place right in the heart of Godalming.
Godalming
Compact room, clean functional room, good space for parking, breakfast was good. I arrived later than planned and they were very accommodating.
