We were in Goole to do family history in Snaith and frankly...
We were in Goole to do family history in Snaith and frankly didn't expect much from the area. What we found were people very interested and connected to the East Riding and willing to talk. The town is working hard to promote tourism and it shows in the art walk , to name one thing. Folks in the library were knowledgeable and working on the history of Goole. And do stay at the Lowther hotel while there . The only thing I would recommend is to put pressure on the street cleaners in the dock vicinity.

Good base .
Good base . Airmyn and hook banks nice for a walk . Sobriety centre in old Goole is worth a visit . Not many shops but still enough to spend time looking round . Hull Doncaster Leeds and Scunthorpe a short car journey away . Meadowhall and Sheffield city centre worth a visit . Some nice villages in the surrounding area . The coast not far away .

From $54 per nightThe twin room was very large and I had a separate bathroom which was very large with a sunken bath separate shower and toilet. Plenty of wardrobes in the room and storage. The breakfast was excellent and served in my room due to Covid precautions. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of electric sockets though I always take an extension lead with me as some B&B's/hotels have limited sockets which if you want to plug in a phone and laptop can be restricting. (That is a tip I picked up on my travels)

The area was residential and felt quite safe The room and bedding was clean The guest house was clean and has a pleasant a lounge seating area near check in desk Tips Howden Village is about8 miles away and is a lovely place to spend a couple of hours with a very nice tea room and Italian Restaurant

Very nice and big apartments, equipped with love upto the last detail, owners are very friendly and helpful. Great service, best choice. I'll book again. Loved it. Goole is also a nice small town where you'll find everything you need. Wish I would have found that place earlier.

The cottage was exceptionally cosy, the facilities were first class. It was quiet and tranquil. I could not have asked more for a stop over, much better than most hotels. Host has thought of most things, breakfast ideal, bathroom items like shower gel etc Could not fault it

From $128 per nightAwesome property. Within walking distance of supermarkets, city center and Goole station. House is very clean, most likely renovated fairly recently. Towels, bedding, toiletpaper and even shower cream/shampoo were provided on arrival. Landowners are very kind and helpful.
