Great location next to the beach and a handful of restaurants, bars and cafés. Free car parking outside. Super friendly host, good communications. Lovely room with good range of amenities (This was a room only booking) Especially liked the new communal lounge and balcony on level 1 so we could watch the boats go by
Located in Gorleston-on-Sea, just a few steps from Gorleston Beach, Stunning Sea View Penthouse – 2 Bedroom – 2 Bathroom has beachfront accommodations with free WiFi. The apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished. It was comfortable and warm (December) The hosts had thoughtfully provided everything we needed. When looking at photos online it's hard to be sure that a property will meet expectations - this one was just as beautiful as the online photos. It was excellent and the sea view was truly stunning.
Featuring a patio with garden views, a bar and a garden, “The Reach” Lovely 2 bed house in Gorleston on Sea can be found in Gorleston-on-Sea, close to Gorleston Beach and 1.5 miles from Great Yarmouth... Extremely clean and clean smelling and well furnished with all the extras for a family like us. Opposite a large supermarket and 5/10 minutes away from a lovely beach. Also literally in the middle of town but you wouldn’t know it.
I loved the beach and the little town. It was just the right size for a little browse while on holiday. I walked around but if you have a car , it’s not far to other larger shopping areas. I spoke to several local people who were really friendly and gave good advice about where to eat/ coffee shops etc. We are in the Olive Garden one evening which was superb. Will definitely visit again.
It's a good place to start a boating holiday on the Norfolk Broads - the Bell is a great pub with good food, with a useful phone app for ordering food and drink. It's odd that when you first look at booking.com the accommodation seems to be a cottage rather than a boat - perhaps they could do something about that.
For anyone who has never been to Gorleston on sea like us before you will not be disappointed. Its a little gem just up from Great Yarmouth boasting a beautiful Sandy beach. Amusement s for children big n small. Cafes, pubs restaurants. Its even got its own Banksy. We fell in love with the placeand will definitely be returning.
Just a hidden little gem. Perfect for a family with children. Has everything you need and more. Very clean and golden beach. So many places to eat and excellent food at all places. Everything is within walking distance of a few minutes. So much to do for young children. Free splash area and playground. Lovely walks above the fabulous beech.
We went for a short break , to relax on the beach ! the beach was perfect , so clean , not crowded ,there were a couple of nice bars to both eat and have a drink at over looking the bay . The walk way was clean , with only a couple of shops on the front a cafe and Ice cream also fish and chips , yet it was so peaceful . If you looking for a quiet little place then this is where to go .
The golden sands of Gorleston beach is the BIG draw here. We have a dog and the beach is dog-friendly after October (we went for Xmas). Generally very quiet, but a nice buzz around the seafront with families and dog walkers. The seafront cafes are dog-friendly (and human friendly), which is really lovely. There is not much to see in the area, but we only went to chill, see family and friends, walk the dog and eat too much!
Fantastic location, so central to the beach, the Pavilion, the Pier Hotel, steps up to the Cliff Hotel, the Ocean Rooms, the pier, the promenade (in the few days we had we sampled all of this apart from the Pavilion). A short walk to the High Street to catch a bus into Lowestoft, Yarmouth or Norwich. Really great. Easy to collect the keys, well kept and super clean throughout with comfortable heating, a nice home from home with the typical layout of the fishermen's cottages from years gone by.
Our needs were well met by our stay at this newly refurbished house while we visited friends and family in Gorleston-on-Sea with our 7 month old baby and little dog and 4 adults. Comfortable beds, well planned kitchen with circle of ceiling lights, and outside space. Baby loved the spotty rug. Close to the beach, pubs and High Road.
Great and very nice service. Perfect location. A very clean hotel.
