The hotel was wonderful. We got a free upgrade which was unexpected and much appreciated. Hotel grounds are stunning. We stayed during December and the festive feel was brilliant. Can't wait to return.

Memorable warm reception and hospitality by Jackie and Nigel. Our entire stay was fantastic, from the "Nigel" breakfasts to the relaxed and comfortable experience of the accommodation. This was our first experience of the Lake District. We were very happy we chose this location as a base given the popularity of the usual Lake District locations. Great location and easy access to all attractions and walking trails, away from the crowds. We would stay here again on our next trip!

It was really modern and cozy! It also had pretty much everything that was needed for our stay! The neighbours were also really nice and polite. The location is also really nice and peaceful. The little stream in front of the house is also really beautiful and relaxing!

    The people at Grange over Sands appear to make an effort to keep the town clean and tidy. It has a lovely park and flower displays in various locations. The people also seem very friendly. The mile long promenade is nice to walk along and the planting alongside is well managed.

    The promenade was flat with views over the bay. Surprised to find the old lido at the end, art deco masterpiece being renovated. Impressive station building and lots of§ history. It is ideal for visiting the lakes, Morecambe, and Holker hall. The lakeside motor museum is well worth a visit with an exhibition to Donald Cambell

    A lovely quaint little town and good for lovers of horticulture, nature and birds. Dog friendly and lots of small traditional shops and cafes. Walking along the promenade is quiet, more of a nature spotting walk and history lesson than a beach trip, but you can drive to the lakes for some nice clean places to walk and paddle. 20 mins drive to Windermere or Coniston water. Lots of churches I noticed? Lots of nice restaurants and cafes you could drive to, more than you could visit in a week I think, having come from Scotland there really are a lot! Probably quite a lot of retired people but that's not a bad thing!

    Overall a lovely stay.

    Overall a lovely stay. Easy access to other areas of interest. visited Cartmel and enjoyed an evening meal in one of the pubs. Ate in our Hotel the rest of our stay. Plenty of walks to go on and places of interest to visit.

    Great Location and well organised.

    Great Location and well organised. Nice, big room which all were very clean. Hot tub and outdoor BBQ were there also. We enjoyed so much. Big living and dining space with full kitchen setup. Outdoor terrace with excellent view

    I would highly recommend The Grange Hotel the town is interesting with a good variety of traditional shops the Family run shoe shop at top of main street has a great selection of quality shoes walking jackets boots and lovely pleasant staff. The chip shop has a very entertaining owner always pleased to serve you . the promenade is amazing with views over morcamme bay .. a really pleasant walk with beautiful flowers maintained by locals a pleasure to walk along . on outr trip through one of the telescopes on the promenade wee witnessed a large several hundred people walking across the bay at low tide 8km for charity amazing sight i definitely will be back

    The location of the property is beautiful. Grange Over Sands is picturesque. The beach and old buildings are beautiful. The apartment is right near shops and take aways. It's a quiet little town on the night. Apartment is lovely. Beds are a little hard but this is personal preference. Only negative would be no mirror to get ready in the front bedroom.

    Netherwood Hotel is a gem of a place. Grand house with bucket loads of style. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The meals were excellent, staff pleasant and the price we got dinner bed and breakfast was great value. I love the way they have made boxes out of the box hedges!
