Fab place in a lovely location with a brilliant room and view. Staff were really friendly, breakfast was fresh and the meals we had in the Wild Brownie bar were lovely without a wait despite being quite busy. We just loved it!

As the accommodation was at the top of the building we had to climb about 30 steps to get to it. I tried to explain that to the check in lady that my wife has troubles climbing stairs and she was very dismissive and blamed Booking.com as they allocate the rooms.

The studio was comfy with wonderful views of the loch. Not modern, but all the creature comforts were accommodated which made it a great place to relax. A beautiful hotel with bar and restaurant is close by and the food is great quality.

Make sure you allow time to explore the surrounding area en route - beautiful part of Scotland. The pool was lovely and walks around the lake provided amazing photo opportunities. The menu at dinner was varied and everything we ate was delicious. Breakfast was also very good and the outdoor seating in the sun was ideal as a spot to enjoy a cool beer. Can’t wait to return - thank you for a lovely stay.

Was extremely excited about the stay here as a treat for myself and my new fiancé. The hotel is very picturesque on the outside and as you enter. We stayed in the loft suite as a proper treat due to the bath tub and that was definitely the highlight of the stay. The room was good but there were some details that took us out of the ‘5 star’ rating that the hotel raves about. Stained carpets, stains around the bathtub and in the bathroom, some cobwebs and just other small attention to details that could’ve really made it better. The wee nook in the room was very cute but really unsure what to even use this for. Very difficult to get in and out of so would be good for this to be noted when booking and there were cobwebs up in there that you can easily see due to it just being a white lit space. Staff were friendly but would not recommend eating here. Breakfast and dinner both very disappointing and extra charges for cooked breakfast which were hidden and not advised until you got there. They also asked for a security deposit of £100 which was fine but again should have been told prior to this as it was a surprise to me and sounds like an ongoing issue for others too.

Have beem coming to Rannoch for many years and it never fails to delight. We were lucky and saw it at it's best - autumn leaves were still on the trees and the colours were fabulous. The sun shone for the two days we were there and the views of the snow capped mountains and their reflection in the calm waters of the loch were breathtaking. However there is a different beauty when the weather is less favourable. As Arnie says - We will be back!!

Beautiful area, quiet, near the water.

Beautiful area, quiet, near the water. Close to Pitlochry, House of Bruar, Ian Burnett chocolatier and many other scenic attractions. Venue was very stylish, lovely seating area at the bar. Dinner was very tasty with a main being on average £25. Staff were very friendly. Had a walk round the area , visited the church and a nearby field had so many deer.

Lovely views across Loch Rannoch from the enclosed balcony, nice location right next to the hotel, easy to walk over for a meal or drink. Practical studio generally, nice spacious bathroom with plenty of surfaces to put our own toiletries on. Had a window and an actual bathtub, which I prefer. Good to have a vestibule at the entrance of the studio, perfect space to feed our dog & hanging up our outdoor gear above the radiator &leaving shoes.

Nice hotel in the middle of the Scottish wilderness! Very 'tartan, shortbread & heather' Scottish decor. Local scenery stunning (obviously). Lovely room - spacious and comfortable, slept like a log. Wife liked the spa. Good breakfast.
