The location on King St was very good , plenty of shops and places for refreshment. Stayed 2 nights at the Rose and Crown, visited a few pubs including The Lord Eldon chatted with the locals who all seemed friendly and gave us good advice. We were guests at a friends wedding at the Culshaw estate , a beautiful venue just a couple of miles away (over peover) Local taxi came on time to the venue . Brilliant visit to Tatton park, we were very lucky to see the deer at very close up range. Lovely location for the shops, fish and chip shop did a lovely fish supper within walking distance of the cottage. We used to live in Knutsford 12 years ago so only needed some where to stay. We were just up for one night for a family meal before going...
We were just up for one night for a family meal before going over to Nottingham. There are some very interesting buildings in Knutsford, from old half timbered up to arts and crafts style buildings so a nice place to street walk. Lovely small town centre with lots of interesting...
Lovely small town centre with lots of interesting independent shops and restaurants. The heritage centre is really good - you have to see the tapestry - the staff were also very informative. There's a Booths supermarket nearby - coming from the "soft south" we always make a beeline for a Booths - the coffee beans are very very good value! We came in March but would come again when the flowers are out, and walk up to Tatton Hall...very very close.
