Set in Malvern Wells, The Railway Inn offers accommodations with a seating area and TV. The bed and breakfast offers a continental or Full English/Irish breakfast. The large comfortable room and bed. The view. Good staff. Good food. The friendly and helpful landlady who went out of her way to make our stay so comfortable.
Set in 7 acres of wooded slopes, Cottage in The Wood offers an award-winning wine list, homemade biscuits and free parking and Wi-Fi, with direct access to the Malvern Hills. Stayed for 1 night first week August. Reception were excellent as had to guide me in to find the place. The place is stunning, set on the side of a Malvern hill and its white building standing proud. We had a room in a seperate cottage and was beautifully decorated with a sumptious shower to die for. Fine bed and comfortable room. Breakfast was way above expectations with several choices for a cooked meal. Many thanks to all and well done on having a fantastic place, we will return.
Chalk Cottage, Malvern in Great Malvern features accommodations with free WiFi, 2 mi from Malvern Theaters. Fabulous cottage - hosts had thought of everything, including a welcome pack of wine, snacks and preserves. Stunning views from the house across the hills and some lovely walks right from the front door. Some very nice local pubs too.
Loved the open countryside, the walks and the views. We walked on many of the hills. We ate at the Railway Inn which was good value. We also ate the Malvern Hills hotel that has better food, and of course higher prices. Still good value. We also walked around Malvern which is a lovely town.
Glorious area for walkers-hills that roll with the landscape and lots of safe areas to explore. Routes into the main town can get busy and with the narrow streets, just a little congested-my accommodation was just outside but the stroll in was an absolute joy. Lots of homes with great views..lot's to see, Holy well's, old churches and the odd chapel, a tiny theatre and more to explore.
We all enjoyed our stay, we visited the quilt and patchwork show in the show grounds, we visited the town center and the lovely park by the theatre. We drove round the area to see the countryside would love to go back to see more. Parking is difficult as signs seem to send you in wrong directions, and because we didn't know where the main town was hard to decide where to park drove round and round dome roads to find parking.
