Good place to stay if you want to try out Devons lido's. Good rail links and buses are OK. The shopping area is worth a visit too. Try Warren's cream tea takeaway while you're there...and remember it's jam then cream!! check recent reviews if you're thinking of staying in the Keyberry Hotel..in Aug 24 it was truly awful. Newton Abbot is a nice little town, with a decent array of shops. If you have little ones, you must go to iTown as it's a great place for toddlers and Primary School kids. A lovely walk in wardrobe, containing a full length mirror in our room. Great location for a family do in Newton Abbot. Instructions for the key were easy to follow and there was on site parking. There was milk and tea and coffee supplied for when we arrived, t.v, books and games on the shelves. A very enjoyable, relaxing stay with family from York.
