Very unclean the stairs had not been cleaned in a long while adjacent to one of the rooms. There was a large dog room with several dogs in it, running around and barking continuously with the smell of dog urine and feces coming through the window into the room, we do our photos very very disappointed as the location seem perfect. I take my wife away and her sister and brother-in-law for three days to celebrate 40th wedding anniversary and to go to a wedding could be a good venue if they sorted their selves out, we could not stay under those circumstances and booked another property which was no better very very disappointed in booking.com me and my wife and business trips go away frequently have not in the last nine months as my wife is undergoing chemotherapy for cancer and the spoil our first triple a nearly a year

Very spacious, self-contained apartment in a quiet area of Goole, easy to get to on bikes from the Trans Pennine Trail which we were exploring. The room was nicely furnished and the kitchen well-equipped. The communal living room had games and books in it and would be a nice feature if you booked a smaller room or were travelling as a group. Guest laundry was really useful. The continental breakfast was left in the room for our arrival and was plentiful.

Great location and a really well done Hotel , everything is spotless and brand new . The coffee bar inside the Hotel is a really nice touch and all local amenities including the Abbey and the River Ouse are a couple of minutes walk away .

    This is a well equipped cottage in a beautiful rural setting...

    This is a well equipped cottage in a beautiful rural setting. Parking is excellent. Great location for exploring local area and for walking by the river. No outside dining seating or garden, but there is a garden bench . Highly recommend Bishops in Howden for best Sunday Lunch ever, with giant Yorkshire Puddings. Badger and Bean in the Market Place do great coffee and light snacks. Make Sure you walk round the park and visit the Minster as a ‘must do’. You wont be disappointed! İ am proud to say İ was born and bred in Howden.

    Staff great. Food great. Room and room facilities great.

    Staff great. Food great. Room and room facilities great. Dining room and lounges great. Bar prices reasonable. Unfortunately it's in the middle of nowhere and there is nothing to do once you have walked round the gardens. It has a heated outdoor pool if the weather is right. Plenty of parking space. Would probably be great venue for weddings and other celebrations, or any group where you can make your own entertainment. Bar does not have real ale. Bricklayer's Arms is the nearest local pub and does have real ale, great food and a wonderfully friendly clientelle. It's really far too far to walk to, we tried it, and taxis locally are almost impossible to find.

    This hotel is perfect for a relaxing get away.

    This hotel is perfect for a relaxing get away. We didn't venture far from the hotel. We stayed to enjoy the restaurant (the evening meal was amazing) and a few drinks in the cosy bar area. The staff were all lovely, helpful, friendly and accommodating.
