We were treated so well at Freya farms! Jon and his wife are super hospitable and thought about our comfort at every turn during our stay. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed and then upgraded to a room with a view of the surrounding creek, hills and mountains. The area is an idyllic farmstead and we loved it! The rooms were very comfortable too. The hosts also made us a lovely breakfast and gave us traveling tips. We loved going to the nearby grand Gulfoss waterfall, the Secret Lagoon and Selfoss. 10/10 hotel to stay, we would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

The cabins are beautiful inside and out. We loved the sauna and hot tub. We loved that it felt like the middle of nowhere. We hung out in the lounge for a bit. The views were spectacular, everywhere. This place is a dream.

We loved that it was away from the crowds, but close to many great spots. The owners were lovely and welcoming. Our room was quiet and comfortable and we woke up each day with a horse outside our window. We also loved that breakfast was included.

Comfy beds, very clean room, great shower, and a nicely equipped large (shared) kitchen space and refrigerator where each room had it's own dedicated space. Being next to the lagoon with unlimited access and towels provided was a nice bonus! So great to relax after a hiking day, and being able to sleep in a quiet and comfortable room.
