Location was very central. Famous hot dog stand, rainbow street, shopping all a very short walk. Property was so cozy and the room was great and agree with other reviewers - the bed is like a cloud. Heat control in room was good- never cold. Breakfast was fabulous. So many choices and delicious. I wasn’t going to pay the extra but was really glad I did. Very close to Bus Stop so easy for tours and airport transfer. Spa downstairs was fabulous but the room is so comfortable didn’t use but once. Also, 7-11 next door and some drinks etc for sale at the desk. Great experience and so glad I picked this hotel and paid a bit more. Bar area was really nice. And very, very clean!! Loved this hotel!!

Location is ideal. Not too far out from anywhere with good transport links. Good system where you can book any tours with the hotel too. Staff were excellent with great communication throughout, even when I was late checking in after missing my first flight. Automated hotel but help was available if I needed it. Felt very safe as a solo traveller. Rooms were quiet, clean and warm. Most comfortable beds here too! Would highly recommend staying here :)

Booked a bus excursion to see krater, hot spring, national park, Perlan. Was great way to site-see and rest enroute. My kids loved the lava show and still talk about it a month+ later. Iceland is pretty expensive, so look into food options and excursions when you are planning your trip. We spent >$60 CAD for a 4 ice cream cones at Perlan, for example. Be prepared to have some extra spending money ahead of the trip. This is such a beautiful country; I'll be going back for sure.

We loved the Norther Lights tour, we were very lucky and saw them on the first attempt. We also loved the Flyover Iceland experience, that was one of my favourites, as soon as it ended, I wanted to queue to do it again! the Wonders of the South Coast tour, The Lava Tunnel tour, the Golden Circle and the Sky Lagoon was also a fabulous experience. We also went to Perlan and the Iceland National Museum. You should also leave a day or two to simply wander around the charming capital and negotiate the excellently run bus system.

I liked the quirky nature of Reykjavik, the independent bars and cafes and strong sense of individuality. We found a fun bar called Bingo and a delicious fish restaurant called Kaffivaginn. I really loved Iceland

Crazy not to add this to your next adventure.

Crazy not to add this to your next adventure. We’re thinking about just making a trip for this country in the future. I don’t remember the name of cafe but it was a ten out of ten. And fish and chips brought it home for dinner. Certainly the whale watching was unbelievable, i mean a must do. And sky lagoon was priceless, really 5 star place.

    Beautiful location, any weather.

Beautiful location, any weather. One of the most expensive places as regards to food. Examples: can of soda from grocery store $4 and up. Bowl of soup could be $20 min. Starbucks, 1 grande latte and one grande Americano about $15. Just so you plan well! Freebie: extensive street art! The9 hour Golden Circle tour hits a lot of high spots in the area, the harbor area is beautiful with many photo ops.

It's a great starting point for your stay in Reykjavik/Iceland, being a nice mix of hotel and hostel. You can potentially meet other traveller here, but also have space to yourself that you don't have to share. There are several bus stops and highlights of the city in walking distance. The kitchen is very neat if you want to warm up some supermarket food, check in/out ist super easy, there is a hot tub, you can easily store your luggage, it's stylish and kind of fun to stay in a hub ... great place for a couple of nights.

Excellent location, very central, city center only 5 minutes' walk, harbor no more than 10 minutes' walk. Lots of restaurants around, but the street is quiet. We took a shuttle from the airport and several excursions with Reykjavik Excursions, Fly Bus, and it was very convenient, the drop-off stop is only 5 minutes from the hotel. Hotel is very quit, we sleept well, litery ok, we had everything we need in the small kitchen. The supermarket is also just 5 minutes from the hotel. Everything was very clean.
