Maiori is a fantastic town — not as touristy or crowded as...
Maiori is a fantastic town — not as touristy or crowded as Amalfi, and not as expensive as Positano. It has the longest stretch of beach along the Amalfi Coast, complete with a lovely promenade for walking. This also means there are more hotel options on flat ground, without endless stairs, and several free beaches to choose from. Another great thing is that there are fewer boats here, and the port is located away from the main beach, which helps keep the water exceptionally clean. If you want to explore the rest of the coast, ferries depart from the port every couple of hours in all directions, making it easy and convenient to visit nearby towns.Guest review byIrynaPoland - 10.0

We were 100% satisfied with our stay in Maiori. It’s a great place to base oneself on the Amalfi out of the frenzy of some of the other more touristy towns which are still easy to access by ferry or bus. Lovely small resort with some shops and restaurants. 2 supermarkets. Lots of boat rides to other towns on the Amalfi coast and Capri island. Since we had a car to go around the Amalfi coast, we chose Maiori as a good option to sleep in because it is much more affordable and calmer than the very touristic and bustling towns of Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi which have crazy prices for accommodation and food. Mayor's restaurants are simple and more authentic with less tourists and more local Italian's and that's when you know that the food will be outstanding! We spent the whole day enjoying the touristic areas hopping from town to the next by car, and then came back to this lovely town to spend the night and the morning next day.Guest review byHowaydaEgypt

Annalisa is a very attentive host, she kept in touch and helped us with everything we needed. The room was perfectly cleaned on a daily basis by a lovely housekeeper. The location was great, very easy to get to and on walking distance to the Main Street, bus stop, the beach and anything else we would need, but it was also very quiet and relaxing. My little one really liked the extra shower fitted outside. Its location was very convenient too, less than 10 minutes walk to the beach and centre of Maiori, the steps outside were the starting point of the amazing lemon path to Minori. It was a great base to visit other towns on the Amalfi coast.
