This place is a fantastic value !! This is a traditional Khmer home with an adjoining hotel and pool. The staff is beyond helpful and kind and the vibe is great. The beds are comfortable and the shower is hot. The location is a short drive to pub street and we enjoyed the more laid back area.

The hotel is conveniently located near the old market and pub street, yet remains peaceful at night, especially if you opt for a balcony room. The bed is exceptionally comfortable and the hot shower offers great pressure. The breakfast buffet is delicious with a wide variety of options. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting me in booking tours and arranging a fantastic private sunrise tour of Angkor Wat in English. The hotel also helped me book a bus to Phnom Penh through Giantibus, which was a pleasant journey. I highly recommend staying here for the convenient location, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and exceptional staff. The tours and transportation services they offer are of high quality and great value for money.

11/10, top-notch, spectacular! Staying in Anansaya La Mansion made out time in Siem Reap even more special. I highly recommend staying there. Will definitely come back in the future. The hotel's elegant interiors mix modern and traditional designs with exquisite details. The large rooms, which are both spacious and cozy, are equipped with everything you could possibly need and are very clean too. There are 2 beautiful, relaxing pools. Stunning dining area, surrounded by a tropical garden. The breakfast is of excellent quality. We also enjoyed splendid dinners in the restaurant. The hospitality of the personnel is absolutely next-level. Every single person we talked to was welcoming and professional. Special thanks to May and David! They have organized for us excellent guided tours of Angkor Wat and a floating village. Thanks to the guide who worked with the driver, we had a very well-organized time and learned plenty of interesting, insightful details about the history and culture of Angkor Wat and Cambodia. The hotel is located close to the Angkor area. Between the city center and the temple area, where one can travel easily with a tuk-tuk.

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel. The pool was so charming, staff were the kindest Cambodians and so helpful, the room was perfect and clean for our 3 night stay. We would go back in a heartbeat to Bayon Modern. Pisith is the best tuktuk driver and made our visit to Angkor Wat so special. We loved learning about his life and culture. Two thumbs up to everyone!

Travelling to Siem Reap during the wet season is great if you can plan a longer stay. The land is lush and green. It rains mostly in the afternoon and for only 1-2 hours. Low season means lower prices. Angkor archaeological sites are less crowded. Enough indoor activities for wet-weather like visits to APOPO, Lotus farm, Kun khmer gym session, museums, shopping etc.

I love Siem Reap so much I have come back time and time again. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and makes you feel at home. I recommend walking along the river and grabbing a bite to eat from one of the vendors. Also try Tevy's restaurant you won't be disappointed. Everything is cooked fresh to order, so you have to wait a bit but its so worth it.

Siem Reap is wonderful: a unique place and one of the most special in the world. It has plenty of bars and restaurants and a lovely riverside area. (The variety and quality of food is among the best I’ve experienced in Southeast Asia) It’s also very bike-friendly, with many dedicated cycle lanes (one extending pretty well all the way to Angkor Wat.) The Angkor Wat archeological park is amazing. If you have time, my advice is to go for the seven-day pass valid for a month. That way, you can spend a day or half day at Angkor, break it up with time in Siem Reap, and instead of suffering “temple-fatigue,” from trying to see too much in too short a time, really appreciate how special the place is. And, for me, the best way to see it is by bicycle. The terrain is flat. The roads are (mostly) good and quiet, and there are many cycle lanes. There’s plenty of cycle hire places in the area. I used Bayon MTB Project. The man who runs it is real bike enthusiast and is always working on maintaining the machines, which, in consequence are in very good condition. If, while in some remote part of Angkor (or anywhere else) you should have a puncture or other problem with your bike, he’ll come to you to fix things. He and his wife also do a lot of work with children in the area. Basically, then, good people, good bikes, good prices and great service.

I love nature / gardens so really enjoyed what was on offer around Siem Reap. Highlights were the Botanical Gardens, Butterfly Paradise, Angkor Silk Farm, walking along the river, tuk tuk rides into the countryside. Morning tea at old Raffles Hotel was also lovely, they have lovely garden and flower arrangements inside.

Siem Reap is an ideal place for those who are interested in culture, history and architecture. Even though the temples are in ruins they are magnificent. Angkor Wat is not the only important attractions. There are several equally interesting and fascinating temples in the viscinity of Siem Reap.

Cambodian friendliness and the help, flexibility and kindness of all the staff to make sure we made the most of our few days in Siem Reap. I want to mention all the staff by name but I cannot remember everyone: Rotha, Dalean, Sophie, Chakriya but also cleaners and restaurant staff. Helpful with tours, directions, pick ups (best scooter drivers!) Great location for walking/tuk-tuk around the city. Lovely hotel, affordable but super clean and spacious rooms.

The pool was a real highlight—immense, clean. My room was immaculate and felt incredibly cozy. Parking was big, easy to parking. Probably one of the best places to stay in Siem Reap, but in a more trendy hostel/hotel place rather than a traditional and expensive hotel. Everything is very new and very nice. It's a short walk or TukTuk ride to the busy part of town near Pub Street and the Old Market. I highly recommend you do the cooking classes and ATV tours while in town too but you might have to organise them yourself.
