AustriaWe loved it. Very clean, calm, and relaxing. Batiste was a perfect host - he even came to the villa to help us when I accidentally locked myself out of our room one night.
The pool is heated, they have a good laundry service and there is a very cuddly, cute black cat living on the premises.
10/10 would stay there again.

Each area of town was a completely different experience.
Each area of town was a completely different experience. It was Tulum meets Munich but then there were 400 year Spanish colonial estates in bright colors draped with jungle fauna. Some areas were dense and chaotic but felt like an adventure. Other areas were rich in opulence that felt accessible. Oh and the food scene was incredible. So many excellent restaurants and so many more excellent cocktails. The an hour drive out of the city in any direction was a different eco adventure. I can’t wait to go back. Someone make me rich so I can rent a place there. Thank you.

We trained there which is a great way to travel (Tren Maya is beautiful) but it seems they make transportation from the train stations difficult by design. It's actually quite ridiculous. We waited for over an hour for the bus and still didn't have an option into the historical area of Merida, which I'd imagine most tourists would be visiting.
The town itself has a ton to see and do - highly recommend visiting - 2 nights, 3 days is perfect!

Al pastor tacos on the south side of Mercado Galvez, Lechon tacos at Lupitas in Santiago park, amazing italian at Tratto in Santa Lucia, and elote ice cream on the Soutwest corner of the Zocalo.

Charming centre in deceptively large city. Great modern airport and good access to Yucatan sights.
Mundo Maya museum a must visit. Great restaurant choice in Calle 47 - corridor gastronomica. Better to stay nearer here and Paseo Montejo than close to Plaza Principal, which is worth a visit but less sophisticated round about.

Mérida is a great city, it's the cultural hub of the SE Mexican region. It's up to the visitor to get into all it has to offer and eventually it could easily be necessary to return for there's always so much more and so little time

This small boutique hotel is well located, close enough to the centre but out of the hassle and bustle. The house is beautifully and very tastefully developed and decorated. The breakfast is amazing! An absolutely fantastic stay! The room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. The staff were exceptional: welcoming, attentive and genuinely helpful throughout. They shared great recommendations not only for Mérida but also for Mexico City and helped organise a brilliant trip to Chichén Itzá and the cenotes.
Also, they make some of the best margaritas :-)

Amazing place and amazing host. The breakfast was really nice, since there were options to choose from. We fell in love with this beautiful place Claudia created. She also provided us with all the tips we needed for merida. The pool was lovely and very clean. Would definitely go back to mexico just to stay here again.

Our King room was AMAZING! Enormous comfortable bed, the best shower we have had in the two weeks we’ve been in Mexico. Staff incredibly helpful, yummy breakfast included, lovely coffee. Perfect.
