Location was ideal, placed in the heart of the beautiful streets, the staff exemplary and breakfast out of this world!!! Parking was never an issue as the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful!

For the start being greeted at the arrival by Sammy was an exclusive experience that made our entire stay something special and unique. The location of the hotel is perfect, just steps away from what city has to offer. Hotel itself is super clean and well managed however if we would have to stay in the room that was initially assigned to us it would leave us rather disappointed. Luckily we were quickly moved to another room which exceeded our expectations. There is a gated parking space, which is tiny but the staff is doing what they can to fit as much cars as possible in it. Breakfast was very pleasant and again staff was super nice. The day receptionist / manager who's name I didn't get was also extremely attentive. Overall the staff makes this place super special, you feel you're well looked after.

The no frill hotel is clean, comfortable bed, modern bathroom with great shower pressure. Breakfast is simple but has all the basics. Good coffee but I prefer Plato coffee across the street . Like my cappuccino with soy milk! The staff is so helpful. Good parking .

Staff very friendly, facilities very good

We are a returning guest. The renovation upgrade was very successful. Views still fantastic. Bakefeast in Kleine Zalze very nice.

Great location to explore the town. Room was beautiful with balcony facing pool. The evening dinner in the restaurant was really amazing quality and value.

For me was the best, all was good and staff was amazing and helpful, I would highly recommend this, and I will definitely come back.

The breakfast , environment. Security on duty 24/7, worry free about the Break In or break the car. If for change will come back again.

Location and staff friendliness

We had a great stay and the place was very well located for a wedding that we were attending on a neighbouring farm. Place is exceptional and the service was even better. Thanks very much to Francois and the team.

The room was luxurious and spacious. Staff were exceptional in providing assistance and sincere in their efforts to ensure your stay was memorable. This is a first class property at affordable rates. Great location for walks along the river, shopping and dining choices. The breakfast is extensive and delicious! I highly recommend River Manor and hope to stay there again on our next trip to Stellenbosch. Lovely hotel and lovely and helpful staff.

Every little thing made our stay feel special. We totally fell for this spot! Even better, the team can help book wine tastings for you—super convenient. And the minibar? It had two 200ml cans of rosé and two of Sauvignon Blanc—such a nice bonus that felt like great value. At this estate, just kick back, sip the good wine, and soak up the sunshine.
