The room (higher level) was really spacious, and had a view over the golf course. Breakfast buffet was much better than average. The resort rang allegedly to find out our arrival time, we took the opportunity to suggest it might be cold and could we have another blanket - it was on the bed when we arrived

I was greeted so kindly and my needs were catered for beyond my expectations. I received a room upgrade which I was so grateful for. The internet ran smoothly for my conference and I especially loved the spa.
Thank you so much I will be back!

We were on a golf trip. The property was convenient to most of the courses we played. Have stayed in coastal areas of Victoria previously, and this property is the best so far, would return. T

Torquay is a delightful holiday destination with a great surfing beach, vibrant shopping centre with shops, cafes and restaurants. We found the Torquay Hotel a particularly nice venue to eat as a family.

I love the sea and find the ocean re-invigorating.
I love the sea and find the ocean re-invigorating. The people are friendly and there some great places to run along the coastline as well as restaurants to dine out at. I shopped for local products which I enjoyed and picked up some nice little gifts. The holiday enabled my two dogs to travel with me and my friend so that our family had a nice break. It made my winter seem a little more cheerful as I don't enjoy the cold but managed to paddle in the ocean with Peppy and Tom. Thank you for the opportunity to get away.

Squires Loft is a great restaurant especially if you like steak.
Point Impossible is the most beautiful beach in Torquay. It is clothing optional so there are not a lot of kids and the beach is pretty quiet although there are a few male perverts that are creepy.
We went to 2 coffee shops that weren't great. I will take my own coffee machine next time.
One of the fish & chip shops near woolies was closed on Wednesday night which I found strange. Another one in Bell St was open but the chips weren't good. It is a guessing game to figure out which take away shops are open, their website will say the shop is open when it isn't.
The bars close early and you will struggle to find an open bar after 9.30pm.
It can be hard to find parking at peak times.

Torquay is a great destination and in my opinion one of the nicest towns along the surf coast. The town centre is pleasant to walk around, and the vibe is great - plenty of choice for foodies with a plethora of fantastic restaurants.
I was here for 3 days on business but made sure I fitted in some leisure time and can't wait to return.
Michael is a great host and took care of our wellbeing, the location of his house is amazing, a quiet area which is perfect to relax but also close to a shopping mall and the beach. The house is spacious and very well set up and decorated, we felt like at home. The area of Torquay is beautiful area to relax and shut down, great hiking locations and an amazing beach.
We highly recommend staying at Michael's house as well as in the Torquay area. Looking forward going back there.
Good location and very easy to communicate with Emma who managed the property. She was accommodating towards our request for an early check-in and even offered a late check-out. The house was fairly new and extra amenities like soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the bathrooms were an added bonus. It was a 4-5 minute drive to the beach and most importantly the property was pet friendly.
A newly built town house, with modern features and facilities. House was very clean with great facilities and comforts. Great location in a beautiful estate, not too far from the beach and main town centre. The hosts of this property were super professional, responsive and provided plenty of detail prior to our stay.
This was such a great house to stay in for our family. The two living areas are great for adult/kid time. beautiful outdoor area as well. they have thought about when people need in a holiday stay and made it very comfortable. the beds and sheets were very comfortable too. loved it! would love to come back k again.
We had an event at the RACV club Torquay and were looking for (cheaper) alternative accomodation. The Sands did the trick. Luckily we had our own transport to get back, but the front desk did give us a number to call if we needed a lift. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Ingenia Holidays Torquay was just amazing. I loved our cabin, the layout, the surrounding views and security. Very clean with all amenities provided. Such an amazing experience.
Even when we left, we got a chocolate to say Thank You.
Perfect location in quiet suburban street. Easy walking distance to beautiful beach in the morning (Jan Juc I think). Easy drive to town for heaps of choices for dinner. Great layout that suited our grown up family of 5 perfectly.
Loved the overall atmosphere and every thoughtful detail! There was no boredom in this house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, every five minutes discovering something new! Would recommend for families or group of friends!
It was perfect for our Xmas family holiday including our 3 offspring and their partners. Generous sized rooms, different living areas. Very well set up inside and out.
Staff friendly, but not super efficient. Room very clean. Parking free and easy. Big tv if that’s of interest and free bottled water is always great in any hotel.
