The room (higher level) was really spacious, and had a view over the golf course. Breakfast buffet was much better than average. The resort rang allegedly to find out our arrival time, we took the opportunity to suggest it might be cold and could we have another blanket - it was on the bed when we arrived

I was greeted so kindly and my needs were catered for beyond my expectations. I received a room upgrade which I was so grateful for. The internet ran smoothly for my conference and I especially loved the spa.
Thank you so much I will be back!

We were on a golf trip. The property was convenient to most of the courses we played. Have stayed in coastal areas of Victoria previously, and this property is the best so far, would return. T

Torquay is a delightful holiday destination with a great surfing beach, vibrant shopping centre with shops, cafes and restaurants. We found the Torquay Hotel a particularly nice venue to eat as a family.

I love the sea and find the ocean re-invigorating.
I love the sea and find the ocean re-invigorating. The people are friendly and there some great places to run along the coastline as well as restaurants to dine out at. I shopped for local products which I enjoyed and picked up some nice little gifts. The holiday enabled my two dogs to travel with me and my friend so that our family had a nice break. It made my winter seem a little more cheerful as I don't enjoy the cold but managed to paddle in the ocean with Peppy and Tom. Thank you for the opportunity to get away.

Squires Loft is a great restaurant especially if you like steak.
Point Impossible is the most beautiful beach in Torquay. It is clothing optional so there are not a lot of kids and the beach is pretty quiet although there are a few male perverts that are creepy.
We went to 2 coffee shops that weren't great. I will take my own coffee machine next time.
One of the fish & chip shops near woolies was closed on Wednesday night which I found strange. Another one in Bell St was open but the chips weren't good. It is a guessing game to figure out which take away shops are open, their website will say the shop is open when it isn't.
The bars close early and you will struggle to find an open bar after 9.30pm.
It can be hard to find parking at peak times.

Torquay is a great destination and in my opinion one of the nicest towns along the surf coast. The town centre is pleasant to walk around, and the vibe is great - plenty of choice for foodies with a plethora of fantastic restaurants.
I was here for 3 days on business but made sure I fitted in some leisure time and can't wait to return.
Great caravan park. Lots of accommodation options. Would love to stay in one of the glamping tents. We ( family x4 with teenagers) stayed in one of the older style cabins as we booked very last minute. Cabin was definitely well used but extremely clean and had everything we needed. Very impressed!
Terrific location, kids able to head to the beach, less than 5 minute walk. Great options for lunch and dinner outside the park. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
John, the manager was amazing. he called me and ran through everything prior to my stay and addressed some issues I found reading existing reviews. however he definitely explained to me that this is NOT a Hilton hotel and it is mainly for large groups and might be a little banged up. But to be fair, for a large family all we needed was a clean common area, beds and a fully functioning kitchen. and it provided all of that for our stay!
We had an event at the RACV club Torquay and were looking for (cheaper) alternative accomodation. The Sands did the trick. Luckily we had our own transport to get back, but the front desk did give us a number to call if we needed a lift. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
This property is great. I did not realize how big it was on booking. It would be great for meeting up at the beach with extended family. There are lots of different spaces to hang out, board games, patios…it was a homey place. I would come back if given the chance.
Peace and quiet, the cottage had everything we needed, loved being at the end of road, even more private. Big family barbeque evening under the stars. Perfect.
Super comfortable beds. Quick drive to Torquay for a choice of restaurants and shopping.
Lay out of the home was excellent. Gave space for the kids to hang out and enjoy some down time while the adults could relax. Close to walking tracks, beach, and Torquay main shopping area. Being pet friendly was also a real positive for us.
The property was beautiful and clean with 3 spacious bedrooms and a big comfy living area. Walking distance to Torquay Hotel and a number of restaurants/cafes.
the property has absolutely everything you need for a family/friends getaway. spacious and warm. plenty of rainy day activities, games and fun in the house!
lovely location - so many great amenities near by, like a cafe and the torquay hotel. within the park itself, good clean and large showers and bathrooms
