Easy access to Park. Excellent breakfasts and dinners. Staff went out of their way to deal with luggage my husband left behind while loading the car. We were travelling for an additional 7 days around Tasmania and they got my bags to our final hotel destination in Hobart.

Coles Bay is just stunning and deserves more than the two nights and one day that we had. Ideally, two full days if not more. Lots of hiking, beaching, kayaking etc. Loved it. Lucky those who own a house there!

Gateway to the Freycinet.
Gateway to the Freycinet. Coles Bay is a great base for exploring the national Park. Richardson’s Beach is one of Australia’s hidden treasures. Local cafes are excellent, and it’s a short drive to local wineries and Bicheno’s irresistible Lobster Shack.
Amazing hosts, Mark and Jen made us feeling incredibly welcome. As a craft beer fan, I loved the fact that a free beer tasting session was included in our stay, and it was great to try some REALLY local beer. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable, with a well stocked breakfast kitchen. From coffees, teas, cereals, bread, juice, yoghurt and fresh pastries each day, you couldn't ask for much more. All set within a beautiful part of the country. Can't wait to stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Freycinet Hideaway for 3 nights. The kitchen was really well equipped and stocked with plenty of plates and bowls and and cutlery. We used it to cook a few meals and it worked wonderfully well.
There were 2 comfortable leather lounges in the living room which we enjoyed sitting on. Spacious parking spot at bottom of driveway.
Central location to get to Freycinet National Park, wonderful walks to Wineglass Bay and beach etc.
We were given a quiet cabin on the edge of the site and were very pleased with the location. It was very well equipped, bed was comfortable. Campsite was quiet considering the numbers of people using it. Cafe and tavern on site with good pizzas and other food. Easy walking distance by attractive waterside walk (with lovely views of the Hazards) to Coles Bay with its excellent ice creamery/fish and chip shop and supermarket.
This was our first stay at a "Big 4" Park. It was just Great. I enjoyed talking with all the other travelers and cruising around the park. The Location is fantastic, You are so close to Freycinet park and the beach is across the street. If your coming to Freycinet this is one of your only options, and not a bad one at that. The Pub next door has a exceptional kitchen. Having Laundry facility's was a definite bonus.
Beautifully decorated, gorgeous natural light throughout the home. Clean as a whistle Everything you need is there. Lovely and quiet location. You will need a car to get into Coles Bay but it’s not far at all.
We could have stayed for a lot longer. The property felt like home, you could easily cook meals, do laundry, relax and entertain a bit here.
The studio is conveniently located and it is very easy to drive to Coles Bay for food or visit the Freycinet National Park.
The studio had a fully stocked kitchen which is perfect for making dinner. The studio is very spacious and there are lots of sunshine which makes the place very pleasant :)
Rooms were private and the bed was very comfortable for a good night sleep after a long day of hikes. The restaurant and bar food was wonderfully tasty and well portioned. My son loved the ice cream. The restaurant staff were amazing. The location was the best for visiting Freycinet national park.
Absolutely beautiful location, overlooking the mountains and bay. Very close to the hiking start point and all the attractions of the area. The cottage itself is luxury and even has floor heating in the bathroom! Which was a godsend on the chilly nights. The kitchen is well equipped and modern.
Looks and feels new which is nice. It is located outside of the Coles Bay township. Good size kitchen. The Deck is a nice addition. Overall it was a nice place to stay. There is a drug pickup location at the bus top if you are after something illegal. not sure if this is a good or bad thing.
New property in new development close to Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park opposite play area for children. Newly furnished and deck at 2 sides. Quiet area and we’ll located with 2 convenience stores at Coles Bay (little fresh food) and many pleasant cafes close by.
Great holiday house with amazing views of the Hazards and Coles bay. Comfy beds, good shower, washing machine and drier. The kitchen has everything you need. Very close to shop and cafes, walking tracks and boat ramp. Our second visit to this lovely holiday house.
Comfortable spacious cabin. Clean, bed comfortable. Balcony to sit and enjoy the wilderness. Set right in national park. Lodge has beautiful views over Coles Bay and the Hazzards. Log fire. Breakfast included nice choice. Staff friendly. Nice relaxing place.
Amazing view and great location. End your day at Freycinet with a sky full of stars and the gentle lapping of waves then wake to sunrise over the bay and coffee with pademelons.
Nice, quiet location. Only 5 minutes to Coles Bay town centre and 10 minutes to all the great hikes. Clean and comfortable with a kitchen. Will definitely stay there again.
