In a tranquil setting, this beautiful Queenslander offers private accommodation on the lower level. With two bedrooms, living/dining room and bathroom comprising a bath and shower, plus separate toilet, Keillor Lodge offers a relaxing stay for up to four adults. The lodge is a downstairs extension to the original Queenslander. A private entrance is at the side of the house through French doors leading into the living/dining room. This includes TV, two 2-seater sofas, dining table and chairs, plus the buffet unit. A log fire-style heater is available for the winter months. Also available is a fridge/freezer, sink, washing machine and dryer. Two bedrooms are available - one king and one queen - with fresh bed linen. Each room has a ceiling fan, heating, wardrobe and cupboard space. Please note that when booking for 2 guests, you will have access to 1 bedroom only. When booking for 3 or 4 guests you will have access to the second bedroom. If there are 2 guests staying and you want access to the second bedroom, there will be a cleaning/laundry surcharge per stay. This will be collected on arrival at the Lodge. An outdoor seating area exclusive to guests is located under the back deck. Landscaping is a work-in-progress but shouldn't detract from the comfort of the accommodation. Continental breakfast is included in the tariff. Free WiFi is available on request. Please note that the hosts live upstairs.
Having made a tree change in 2012, it's now time to share this beautiful part of the world with others. An old Queenslander house dating back to the 1920s was relocated to Maleny and has been lovingly restored. A downstairs area has been added for guests to enjoy. I look forward to welcoming guests to my piece of heaven.
Located half way between Maleny and Lake Baroon lies Keillor Lodge. At only 3.5 kilometres from the main street of Maleny, it's a perfect location for your next holiday. Maleny is situated in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and provides a spectacular setting for holiday makers. This is beautiful country and boasts strikingly green rolling fields. Add rainforests and wonderful views to the mix and you have an exceptionally pretty holiday destination. Maleny itself is a charming village with numerous cafes, award winning restaurants, fashion boutiques, bookstores, art galleries, hotel and boutique brewery. Lake Baroon is located at the bottom of our road and is the perfect spot for a swim and picnic. Free BBQ and toilet facilities are available. Other places in and around Maleny include Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Maleny Botanical Gardens, Gardners Falls, Maleny Golf Club and the Maleny Dairy, plus tours, numerous scenic walks and drives around the area.
