Coles Bay is a beautiful spot to explore the stunning walks...
Coles Bay is a beautiful spot to explore the stunning walks around the Hazards and Wineglass Bay. There's a small store / post office that has all the basics and more, plus a fish & chip shop and great coffee bar/restaurant. Great to stay here for a few days and explore Sleepy Bay, Cape Tourville and Wineglass Bay lookout walks. The oyster farm is also well worth a visit.
You definitely need a car to make the most of the area.

Coles Bay is just stunning and deserves more than the two...
Coles Bay is just stunning and deserves more than the two nights and one day that we had. Ideally, two full days if not more. Lots of hiking, beaching, kayaking etc. Loved it. Lucky those who own a house there!

We really enjoyed our stay at Freycinet Hideaway for 3 nights. The kitchen was really well equipped and stocked with plenty of plates and bowls and and cutlery. We used it to cook a few meals and it worked wonderfully well.
There were 2 comfortable leather lounges in the living room which we enjoyed sitting on. Spacious parking spot at bottom of driveway.
Central location to get to Freycinet National Park, wonderful walks to Wineglass Bay and beach etc.
The location was amazing to the private beach we were able to walk to and swim
Initially disappointed as there was no food facilities at the resort until we discovered the Freycinet/Coles Bay Area. Oyster Farm & Geographe Cafe were outstanding. Parking close to suite was ideal. The room was very clean, ensuite needs a refresh in the shower and soaps provided. Pod machine would have been fantastic.
Location was astounding, had an incredible view of the Hazards. Very clean, lots of facilities/ utilities, close to all the cafes & grocery store. Phil, the manager, and Jeff both greeted me as I got off the bus. So kind & welcoming. Gave me a quick tour of Coles Bay, and set me up with a private driver in the area- Big Pete’s Seats. Super lovely town and great access to Wineglass Bay.
This property is in the perfect location for an exploring Coles bay . It’s amazing clean . It has everything you need . The beds are comfortable. Noise is not a problem, so peaceful Views are amazing. Walking distance to shops . I contacted the staff with bed requests less than 24 hours before check in and they had it sorted before we arrived . Much appreciated . Highly recommended.
Super clean, comfortable bedding, everything worked.
Generous space. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well appointed.pots/pans /knives appliances all great.
Enjoyed our stay, it was excellent unit. Made visiting Coles Bay/ Freycinet lovely.
Brilliant for the price.
Someone has put in a lot of effort to make it nice & pretty.
Our accommodation was very clean, and the cooking facilities, appliances, etc were fantastic.
The location was really good, very close to the Freycinet NP. The general store at Big4 was surprisingly well stocked too. We watched the sunset at Coles Bay (short walk from Big4) one evening - it was beautiful!
The staff were fantastic, very welcoming and informative. I can't express that enough. And they left a chocolate and sparking wine on arrival as it was my birthday - which was a super nice surprise! The stay was comfy and relatively close proximity to the main area.
Beautiful holiday home looking towards the Hazards mountains at Coles Bay. Everything was clean and tidy and the main bed was very comfortable. We often saw wallabies near the fence line which added to the experience. Only a 10 minute drive to Coles Bay.
Modern unit with lots of space and natural light. Off-street parking was available. Great location, just around the corner from the township of Coles Bay and only 10 minutes from the depths of the national park. The beds were really comfy too.
Love the location, the garden. It’s close enough to coles bay and freycinet to allow us to explore the area properly. It was great to come back to a well equipped clean home in the evening
Amazing view and great location. End your day at Freycinet with a sky full of stars and the gentle lapping of waves then wake to sunrise over the bay and coffee with pademelons.
Amazing cabin, peaceful location. Everything you need even a washing machine and dryer that doesn't cost you to use. Fabulous would book again if I ever come back to Coles Bay
Very close to freycinet national park and there is a couple of eateries right below the park itself. Cabin is spacious and comes with heater. Very comfortable.
