Prague is a beautiful city and one of my favourite countries to visit. It has gorgeous gothic architecture, really nice food and beer. Czech people are always so friendly and helpful. The food is incredibly nice and a hidden gem when it comes to cuisine. Czech are also renowned for their Beer and you can get some good beers in the city. As with most capital cities, there are tourist traps that you need to be aware of. I would recommend looking at the youtuber Honest guides who addresses these traps and recommends authentic places to go to.

Beautiful city, like all big cities it can be expensive.
Beautiful city, like all big cities it can be expensive. Not a lot of English in signage, so be ready for that. Have a good supply of Korunas as not all locations/services take a card - Euros work too. Lots to see, do your research before you come so you can plan your visits. City is VERY busy and can be crowded - my visit was in October - weather was perfect - 21-24C and sunny every day. New town area is good, lots of wide pedestrian walk ways. Architecture is fabulous!

Use an Uber driver instead of a taxi. Buy tickets in advance for attractions you want to see. Loved the outdoor cafes, the fact that the restaurants stay open later and the ease of walking the city. The horse carriage ride was fun.

Prague has so much history and breathtaking architecture.
Prague has so much history and breathtaking architecture. The monuments, museums, castle are a wonderful sight & getting around was so easy. I recommend purchasing a 48 hour hop on hop off bus ticket because they stop at every major tourist sight and all were within a short walk from the bus stop. Guides were fantastic with directions and support. We were lucky to get a free cruise included with our ticket (these are limited). There's a ton of eating places and money exchanges but the best rate center is Mango that's close to the astronomical tower. Prices are fairly reasonable in most stores. Don't think you need a taxi or Uber, the trams and trains are all frequent and so well connected - get familiar before you go. To begin, on arrival just exchange about $50. Enjoy your travels people!

This city was beautiful, the architecture outstanding, there are numerous places to eat and suit any budget. We walked through the city everyday and would come across hidden gems from food establishments to interesting old building and churches. The people of Prague really do like it when you try to speak the language. We will definitely will be back as there is so much more to discover.

Try to find the local gems in Prague, walking is one of the best ways to explore Prague's center, a car is recommanded for all the shopping malls, people are polite and very helpful, I would recommend checking Creme dela Creme one of the best Ice-creams I ever tasted, and skip the Tredelnic which is offered as a local food but is actually hungrian

The location of the property is excellent, overlooking old town square. The rooms were large and very clean. The facilities are very good, with a shared kitchen and shared laundry facilities. The staff are excellent and I would really like to thank them for everything during our visit. There is no lift in the property and so we needed to climb 4 flights of stairs each day. One of the staff members carried our suitcases up and then down on our departure. There are no staff on site, they come from the nearby Emblem Hotel.
This hotel is ideally situated right near the old town square and lots of restaurants.
We had a large room at the very top of the hotel. The beds were comfy, and the shower had great water pressure.
The hotel is quaint and has lots of history, don't expect a modern hotel woth mod cons. The whole point of this place is its a historic area.
There is a good breakfast selection and a well stocked mini bar!
