Just a 20 minute drive from the airport, perfect for a 1 night stay. Amazing breakfast in a beautiful, modern restaurant. Recommend stay just for this. The staff was excellent and very pleasant. The hotel is in a gated area with security and plenty of parking. The beds were comfortable and huge.

    The greatest reason I would not come back to Punta Cana is...

    The greatest reason I would not come back to Punta Cana is beyond the Resort, and with this comment I want to leave clear that I understand that the property can not do anything directly about it. However i want to warn every traveler, specially those families traveling with kids. The AIRPORT and PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION schemes could become your greatest nightmare. Excessive lines of 1 to 3 hours long at the airport, very disorganized , poorly managed, grouping families with children in separate lines that would growth constantly in relation to the processing capacity of those Customs officer while passengers without children would go through different lines that would move fasters. it felt like discriminations for traveling with minors. In addition to our experience, the AC was shut down and the heat unbearable, Children crying and travelers upset . . I think that scene offered a glimpse into what Concentration Camps were like. On the other hand, watch out for transportation schemes. In DR overall, you can't even rely on Uber drivers who are very used to ask passenger to cancel the ride and charge for more cash to get you to the location. You might just give up to it after seeing that become repetitive and common. For this trip arrival, I had a transportation booked and paid through Booking.com and yet, after we were picked up at the airport, on our way to the hotel, we were requested to pay extra cash to complete the ride or else they would take us back to the airport. at our refusal and after a lot of arguing and heat up conversation over the phone with management, we were drop off at a gas station on the road. Of course this was already reported to Booking but Watch out for the name of that transportation agency " Impulse destination group". Stay away from them.

    Under developed and the airport is the worst.

    Under developed and the airport is the worst. Male custom staffs are awfully. They made me miss my flight. I was there for 8 hours before I could get another flight home. 2 hr wifi when they cause you to miss your flight. Not organized. 0 out of 10

    I only spent the night in PC and drove to Sto Domingo this morning, so my review is hardly meaningful. However I have stayed there before and it is very nice for an all-inclusive beach holiday if one wants such a thing. I prefer to explore

    My favorite spots was the beach itself and the bars around the recreational areas. Friendly staff. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet as they have a variety of food items. I didnt get out of the hotel just to do one tour outside the area. the hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport. there was a bubble party at the pool. Rooms were big but maybe due to the season there were mosquitoes on them.

    Visiting the Coco Bongo area was a highlight — it’s a fun place with nightlife, two shopping malls, and plenty of restaurants and bars to explore. We had breakfast at Kat’s Corner, which was included with our stay. For dinner, we went to Capitán Cook, which had great seafood. For dessert, Dalia’s was a lovely spot. It was relatively easy to get around, especially by walking or using local transportation, 3 wheel taxi. Definitely do not drive yourself — drivers in the area don’t follow traffic rules, and it can feel very unsafe.

    The Bavaro beaches are beautiful, only problem might be the seaweed has a funny smell, but the hotel staff removes it every morning. For me it was not that big of a deal. I recommend the all inclusive experience so you can enjoy the resort experience, I visited Isla Saona but found it too crowded and the trip is a long one. Locals are respectful but I think customer service could improve.

    Well, first time a review a hotel in like 10 years of booking so, let's do this: - The food is amazing, delicious and very diversity. After Punta Cana Princess I went to a more expensive resort in Rep Dominicana and the food was not even close. - The Beach is awesome, the swimming pool area is great, great staff, good drinks (even if you are not on the VIP section). - I got a upgrade for my room in the check - in for a good price and get this amazing ocean view from my balcony, totally change my whole experience, fantastic.

    We had a layover of 2 nights in the Dominican republic with flight in and out from Punta Cana. Sol Caribe Hotel was for us a perfect accommodation for our short stay with an excellent value for money. Very comfortable and clean room. Very friendly people and positive vibes. Abundant food for breakfast - I loved the pancakes.

The pools were great, restaurants and dinning exceptional (9+ out of 10) - i still wonder how they manage to give so big variaty of quality food for so many people, some shows/enterntainment in the evening.
