Apple Tree Cottage is a traditional, stone-built, semi-detached cottage situated one mile from Troutbeck Bridge, and close to Lake Windermere and the towns of Ambleside and Windermere. This cottage sleeps two people in a double bedroom. The cottage also has a shower room, and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off-road parking for one car, private patios and shared use of lawned areas. Apple Tree Cottage is an ideal romantic base for walks, watersports and visiting the many attractions that can be found in the area. Note: Babes-in-arms only.

Neighborhood info

The small village of Troutbeck Bridge is situated between Windermere and Ambleside in the Lake District National Park. The village offers a leisure centre and a thriving and very popular local pub, serving real ales and fine food, plus Ambleside and Windermere offer shops, pubs and cafes. Lake Windermere is also close by and boasts a range of lakeside activities, including trips to the famous Aquarium and the renowned Grizedale Forest Park.
