The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood and at the same time close to a main boulevard, shops, restaurants and at a walking distance to the city center. It was very clean and comfortable with everything necessary for a nice stay.

Property info

This unique place has a style all its own. Located between the lively and vibrant Leith and Edinburgh New and Old Town, the property is within easy walking reach to the City Centre and all local attractions. The Shore is a short walk down Leith Walk which benefits from a super cool little village of its own. The area as a whole has recently benefitted from regeneration and the property has been refurbished throughout with two double bedrooms, open plan living kitchen and modern bathroom.

Neighborhood info

A 15 minute walk from St James Quarter and Princes street, Waverely Train Station, and all tourist attractions.  A 10 minute walk to the Omni Centre where you will find several restaurants, Nuffield Health Gym and a cinema.  A 10 minute walk to Holyrood Palace and Canongate, and 15 minutes to Arthurs Seat.  Leith walk is on your doorstop and with many unique and vibrant bars, cafes, and restaurants. Take a 20minute stroll down the walk to The Shore and enjoy a day by the sea. The apartment is within walking distance to all central shops, and historic attractions in and around the Old Town and the New Town. Best to travel on foot if able, so you can experience the beautiful sites of the city. If arriving from the Airport, get the tram and get off at York Place, the apartment is only a 10-15 minute walk from there. Edinburgh Lothian Buses provide one of the best and easily accessible bus services. You can simply hop on and off and get where you need to be within minutes. Taxi's are also available.
