Browside is a detached, single-storey cottage with superb views towards Coniston Water. The cottage has six bedrooms, two king-size doubles, one double, one twin, and two family rooms, five of which have en-suites. There is also a family bathroom, along with a kitchen with dining area, separate dining room, and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is ample off road parking, and an enclosed garden with furniture, hot tub and a bbq. Browside makes a great family base for enjoying the walking and scenery of this beautiful area. Please note: The number of people occupying this property should not exceed the number stated on the Holiday Confirmation and there must not be any swapping of guests mid-week due to the size of the cottage. If you wish to invite additional guests, this must be agreed by the owner in No stag/hen or party This property only accepts Friday or Monday there are no electric car charging facilities at this property

Nestling at the head of Coniston Water, the pretty village of Coniston is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the Lake District National Park and makes a superb base for touring, with Hawkshead, Ambleside and Windermere just a short drive away. Superb walking, mountain biking and climbing is available locally on Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam, and the lovely woodland trails at Grizedale Forest. For water sports enthusiasts the quiet lake is ideal for dinghy sailing and canoeing, whilst the less active can enjoy a leisure cruise on the beautiful steam yacht 'Gondola'.
