There was nothing to fault with this hotel. The grounds were large and well kept, the bedrooms were large and very clean. The bathroom was much bigger than the average hotel bathroom with quality fittings. Even the towels were white and fluffy! The breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay.

Breakfast was very good. I was in the annex and it does need some tlc. I would've preferred to be in main building as l remember it from my son's wedding reception when we stayed in 2004. Also heing on my own at my age l felt a bit nervous in the annex alone. I realize there has veen flood problems so hopefully the refurbishment will bring it back to its full glory. Staff were all very welcoming and compliments to chef on breakfast great choice just need marmalade which was a small issue as l had s treat with Nutella but och the calories.
