We have stayed in Porthmadog several times, it's a compact town with easy access to all shops and facilities. It's an ideal base for visiting the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways. Portmerion is also nearby. It's a beautiful area close to the mountains and the sea.

Porthmadog was a good central location to explore the Llyn Peninsula. Main reason for choice was wanting to be near Portmeirion & the Ffestiniog Steam Railway. Couldn’t find any really nice eateries in & around Porthmadog also very difficult to find places to eat at lunchtime when out & about as most places only provided food from 17:00 onwards

Porthmadog itself is a perfectly nice but entirely unremarkable Welsh town, We ended up in Borth y Gest because we couldn't find anything in Port, and I am so glad we did - Borth is a really magical village set around a bay and could not be more beautiful. 20min easy walk into Port if you fancy pubs, 10min the other way to fab sandy beaches. Easy access to all sorts of things like castles and adventure sports (zip lining, Bounce Below, speedboat rides at Menai Bridge) if the weather isn't all that. a great place to spend a week or two with kids.

The Cabana was lovely, comfortable and clean.
I was a bit concerned that the loft area would be too small for my 12 and 10yr olds, but it worked out really well and they loved the novelty of the cabin.
The kitchen is well equipped, we had good wifi. The bar and outside patio was great and my daughter enjoyed the playground.
It’s a good location to travel and explore around North Wales and the Llyn peninsula.
Very good location in the center of porthmadog. Easy access to town, shops, pubs, port... But can be challenging for elderly due to position on hill.
Big house, very well equipped kitchen, clean and modern bathrooms. New comfortable mattresses. Very nice area for holiday of any category. Host very helpful, good communication.
The restaurant had a great selection of food and drinks, atmosphere was lovely. Location is excellent for touring North Wales with fab Porthmadog and Portmeirion in close proximity. Staff were accommodating and some were super helpful. Bathroom was clean and shower was good.
