It was so clean and had everything that we needed. The house was also so central to everything. The kids lived all the games. Plus communication from the owners was great.

Linburn Cottage is a delightful detached 2 bedroom retreat that combines comfort, charm, and hospitality. Fully renovated inside and out last year. Experience a cozy relaxing stay in a beautifully appointed Scottish cottage with high quality modern amenities. Fully gated front & generous rear garden with large grass area. Front with large driveway and 24/7 live CCTV front & back for security. Enjoy the convenience of a fully fitted modern kitchen, bathroom and contemporary facilities. Dunfermline City is wonderfully historical with plenty of parks and play parks for walks and keeping kids active. Linburn Cottage location is perfect for all this and some relaxing time in the cottage itself beside the log burner watching Netfix or in the back garden at the bar area and patio area for some Al Fresco dining while the cast iron chimnea creates lovely heat. Have a swing on the handmade mexican hammocks and enjoy a BBQ while the children play with the outdoor toys in the 'secret cupboard' at the side of the outdoor bar. A travel cot is available for free on request. Private parking in front garden driveway. Gated with 24/7 active CCTV for guest and owner security. We do not accept Pets, Stag/Hen Do's or any similar type party.
Myself my partner and our 2 children love living in Linburn Cottage when we are back in Dunfermline to visit friends and family. We have lovingly restored the cottage over years and hope you love it as much as we do. With an easy train link to Edinburgh which is around 35 minutes to Waverly Train Station in the very heart of Edinburgh. Glasgow is just over 1 hour and Dundee around 45 minutes. Linburn Cottage is only a 20 minute drive from Edinburgh International Airport.
Linburn Cottage is a 5 minute drive, 20 mins or so walk to the Fife leisure park with crazy golf (indoor & outdoor), cinema with Imax screen, ten pin bowling, Bingo hall and numerous lovely restaurants including family favourites Mcdonalds, Burger King, KFC, Frankie & Bennys, Nandos & Pizza Hut, Costa Coffee and a huge Dobbies garden centre. Dunfermline City centre is wonderful and right next to Pittencrieff Park known locally as The Glen which boasts indoor glasshouses and acres of parkland to explore and full of trees, flowers in Summer, wildlife, squirrels & birds. We have provided a list of our favourite places to eat and a list of activities in and around Dunfermline in our welcome pack in the cottage. We are also 5 minutes walk from Queen Margaret train station for access to Edinburgh, Glasgow & Dundee. Fife Coastal path has miles and miles of glorious walks and views, much of which is along the Forth estuary bringing the 3 bridges and gorgeous coastline all the way to Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife.
